Terrific design and very powerful
OK this is a real reviewer who did not receive a Vine free product and actually uses portable stoves outdoors of which I have quite a collection. I was attracted to this stove due to its innovative design, compact storage footprint and use of the cheap bayonet style gas canisters. It is well made being constructed of different metals throughout and has a good solid feel to it. From folded to ready use position only takes a few seconds and the insertion of a gas canister around the same. The control valve is easy to use and the piezo ignition has never failed to light first time. The heat produced is impressive, shaped blue flame combustion boils a heat saver kettle or saucepan in minutes and the simmer control works but this is a really powerful stove so be prepared for quick cooking. Due to its large legs and shape I find this one of the most stable stoves I have ever used bar none, low centre of gravity assures that. It does get hot underneath the burner so wise to lay it on a stone or carry a piece of foil/flameproof cloth to put under it. This is not a long range walking stove, way too large and heavy for that, I feel its niche is a day walker or as a car stove for picnics and/or fixed camping which is what I shall use it for. Any drawbacks? I have noticed that the actual burner part takes an age to cool down but of course it folds into a metal case so not a serious issue plus the weight but that's a price you usually pay for robustness. In short, a superb portable stove.

Superior build quality and design
The media could not be loaded. I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review on the Amazon Vine programme.I have purchased several camping gas stoves in the past and believe it or not, I like to use them in the kitchen when cooking certain types of food as I only have a halogen hob. All of the previous camping stoves I have owned have been cheap and flimsy. I was delighted when this product appeared and was keen to try it out.My first impressions were how well made this product is. It has a strong metal shell which is powder coated. It also comes with protective pouch. I was pleasantly surprised how small this stove is when in closed / folded mode. As you can see from the video, it takes a couple of seconds to open it up. The legs and stove are made of really thick steel and I've not come across anything like this before of this nature. It's such a clever design!I ordered some butane canisters to test it with (these have to be bought separately). It takes a second to fit it when the stove is open and clicks into place easily. The stove has a self-igniting dial and I was amazed how powerful the flame is. It also has a wind resisting design. It has good adjustment too, from low, medium and high. The build quality is absolutely fantastic and this is well worth the extra money compared with other portable gas stoves. One thing to bear in mind is that you will need to carry the gas canister separately when it's folded up, as the legs take up the space where the canister resides.I cooked a stir from on it and it performed great - really powerful and easy to adjust !! This is going to be go-to portable gas stove from now on as it fits my needs for home use as well as travelling.I can't recommend this highly enough !

Quality Compact Camping Stove
Odoland Foldable Camping Stove, 1400W Portable Butane Stove with Storage Bag, Great for Camping, Road Trip and emergency Black. This portable stove arrived well packed in a branded cardboard box.Inside, the stove was already housed in a neat Neoprene type carrying case. The stove itself is stored inside a cylindrical thin metal case from which it easily folds out at a 90 degree angle and locks in to place. The case then doubles as the storage area for your gas cylinder. It takes those aerosol type gas cylinders (not included) which fits easily and is held in place via a magnet. The case also has the gas ignition system and flame level on the side. The stove unit itself is very well constructed from solid metal and has 2 extra legs that rotate out from the main unit. When all folded out it's a good size and feels very solid and robust and is able to hold a variety of pots, pans, kettles etc without fear of them wobbling around or potentially falling off mid cook. The fully controllable flame throws out some decent heat at the top level, more than enough for rapid water boiling etc.It works really well and the whole unit packs away to a pretty small size, is reasonably lightweight and easy to carry around so ideal if camping or backpacking if you're looking to save space. My only minor gripe is because the casing is used to hold both the gas cylinder and stove, in order to fold it all away you have to remove the gas cylinder and carry that with you separately. That aside it's a fantastic stove that's really compact and a quality build.

Very compact and nifty
The media could not be loaded. This Odoland Foldable Camping Stove is definitely one of the most compact easy to use piece of equipment I've personally come across. It was just so very easy to open, assemble and close again; without having to look at any instructions. (I am not keen on instructions and only look if absolutely necessary). My only irk is that sadly it did not come with a canister which means I'm going to have to figure out which one suits (I may need to look at the manual for this) IE which one to buy and then buy some and test it out.I am a raw vegan which means I don't cook, but would use it to warm up in the garden after my ice plunge in my ice pod; or I would perhaps boil water with it to make some herbal tea.I like it perhaps better than a fire pit because it is neater, safer and more compact and very easy to put away and very easy to start up when needed; without needing to wait for fire embers to sizzle out safely. So yes, thumbs up for me. Now I have to go source a gas canister! Happy camping!
