Excellent delivery time. This was ordered on Good Friday and was delivered the following Tuesday.The step was delivered with other items and came in its own sturdy cardboard box.It is strong and quite heavy, so may not be suitable for a frail person to manoeuvre.When I opened the package, the legs were folded into the base and the handle was also folded., allowing the item to be packed in the box. There is also a piece of paper with diagrams showing how to fold the handle and the legs. Underneath the base, the top of the handle, together with an l shaped screwdriver and two screws are cable tied into place to prevent loss of parts. Personally, I found the included screwdriver fiddly and used my own screwdriver to fix the Phillips screws securing the handle top.Once assembly was finished, I was disappointed to find that the height of the step was rather low and not help much with reaching higher shelves, which is what I bought it for. The item description does say the height of the step is 6.7 inches, which is correct, but now I have it, I feel it could do with being around 9 inches instead. The adjustable handle is very useful as an aid to boarding the step, especially if you are a bit wobbly on your feet, as I am.It is as described and very sturdy, so I must review it based on the description and not on my wishes. Therefore, I rate it five stars and recommend it if you are looking for a strong step with a useful handle that will get you an extra seven inches off the ground.

What a dinky little step, perfect for me. Easy to put together but like others have already mentioned, I struggled to get screws into the handle so the manufacturer needs to address that issue. Apart from that I can now get into my bath once again, which is a blessed relief as I need a new hip and knee so movement is very limited. That said, with a gentle bit of manoeuvring and a bit of support from the handle I can safely get under the shower. Hooray!

This stool is very robust and stable. I got it for my elderly father to help him reach things without risking a fall and he is finding it very useful. We did not have any issue with the size of screw that others have mentioned and it went together quite easily. The only thing I'd say is that the handle is not very high. Dad is around 175cm tall (5' 9") and the height of the handle is a bit low for him when standing on the stool so may not be easily grabbed during a wobble. Also the step itself may be more useful if it were another inch taller. Even so, it will undoubtedly be used regularly by my dad and supports his safety and independence.

Ideal as a step up platform and good support handle. Only point I would make is that the handle is secured by a self tapping screw which required a good strong wrist and good screwdriver to attach. This may be a problem for an older person and they may need assistance with that one screw. Otherwise easy to assemble.

I bought this safety step stool on behalf of a friend who finds it difficultto climb into bed. It came with two screws that secure the handle but theywere too big for the drill holes that had been pre-drilled into the handle.I had to either drill my own holes or find smaller screws. I settled forsmaller screws. It is now being used and the recipient is happy with it.On a personal level I would not buy Johgee products again, as I do nottrust that the holes would be the correct size.

Nice step stool, folds away quite compact. Feels sturdy when opened out and I feel safe using it. I’ve had plastic steps in the past and they always felt unsteady. This step stool is very stable.Had to adjust the locking clamp for the hand hold, but that was trivial.

The screws that came with the stool were too big, but my partner sorted it from his tool box. The stool is a great help, enabling me to get in and out of our WAV, although my partner is always there incase I slip. You have to make sure that the handle is locked into place once it is pulled to it's fullest extent. It is a good step stool, as I would struggle to get out of our WAV without it. It is strong too, I am a big girl, and it takes my weight ok. Lo uso molto spesso per la manutenzione del mio acquario quindi a volte passo anche una oretta su questo piedistallo. Abbstanza largo e comodo per stare in piedi comodamente senza dover unire i piedi per non cadere. Ottimo il grip antiscivolo (considerando che per la mia manutenzione spesso si bagna!!!). Leggero e comodo da ripiegare
