Love in the Great Smoky Mountains: Former sweethearts reunite at an archeological dig in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As they work together competing for the same research. 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost: A 1920’s ghost refuses to leave estate agent Anna’s newly listed home. Worse, the spirit is convinced she cannot “pass over” until she gets Anna back together with her ex.

Typical Hallmark With a Twist
Love in the Smoky Mountaiins was the usual happy-ending for everyone Hallmark movie. It deserved 4 stars, although the scenery was beautiful. On the other hand, 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost had an interesting twist that made it a step above the typical (but enjoyable) Hallmark fare of "happily ever after." A realtor cannot sell her listing due to a ghost with an agenda. I really enjoyed seeing how it all played out.

More great Hallmark movies
These are 2 more movies that we have seen on the Hallmark channel. And since I would rather not be bothered by commercials, I buy movies we like so we can see them over and over again commercial free.

Not a ton of zip
I like Hallmark movies and as far as Hallmark movies go, both of these are passable. They have somewhat interesting storylines. The first one is about newly minted Ph.D. student who goes to the Smoky Mountains National Park to do a dig for artifacts. It seems as though Hallmark is on a kick of doing national park movies and many of them involve native American artifacts or elements. That plotline isn't as developed as maybe it could be in some ways but it makes for a somewhat different storyline. The characters are likeable and the scenery is nice. The second movie is about a realtor who has to try to sell a house that has the ghost of a previous resident. Again, it's a somewhat different plot with interesting characters but parts of the storyline seem a little flat. There is definitely good chemistry between the characters but you end up feeling like "so what?" Anyway, these are worth checking out but I doubt they will make most people's list of classic Hallmarks.
