It was difficult to put together, my 5 year old son is typically good at this stuff, but this thing is more tedious than fun to build. Comes apart easily when playing, granted my kids are rough on toys, but nothing else we’ve had has done this.

My son loves trucks and cars, so I got this for him, and it was a hit! He's very creative and has built his own little town, so he was excited to add a garbage truck to it. He really enjoys playing with it and especially loves picking up and dumping the little garbage cans. The friction-powered motion is a fun feature, making the truck zoom across the floor with just a push. The truck is a good size, and he also loves the sounds it makes. Great addition to his collection!

Initially, I was fascinated with the idea of this truck. There is no question it would be fun to play with. It has lights, it makes sounds, it moves, and bonus – it can be disassembled and then reassembled and therein lies the rub. The truck I received did not have any instructions and, as a result, I suspect, unless the child is very mechanically inclined, they will get frustrated. Not so much with disassembly, but certainly with any attempt to reassemble the truck. There was a QR code providing a link to a video which I thought might show how to disassemble and reassemble this specific truck, but it turned out to be nothing more than an advertisement on the various toy vehicles sold by this company. The truck does come with a driver handle and three bits for working on the truck (a slotted screwdriver bit, a hex bit, and a cross drive bit), unfortunately, without instructions, reassembly could be quite challenging. Also, because of the many small parts, the child must be mature enough not to put any parts in their mouths. There is a warning to this effect on the box stating that the child should be over 3 years old.PROS• Fascinating toy truck that has lights, makes noise, and moves.• This truck can be disassembled with the provided driver and three bits.• Disassembling and reassembling (see CONS) would certainly help a child develop eye-hand coordination.CONS• There does not appear to be any instructions, printed or video, to show how to reassemble this truck.• There are many small parts which can present a choking hazard.
