If you have never used a snap and hold product, you must buy this it is so really good at cutting and holding the item so that you can place the cut item into c9onvenient bin. Although great for such items as roses and anything prickly. I use it for most pruning, it saves a lot of bending dew.I suggest this shorter version for ease of use. I have the longer version as well but it can be a little more difficult to control accurately.

Realised I opened the ox I realised too short (apply Pythagorau Therurs - kknew the maths learnt 60 years ago would have some use - the snapper and your arm as well as the heig hto the tree angleare the hypotenuse of the triangle. The other sides are your foot to the trunk of the tree, and the height of the tree itself - in my case taking into account the metre high flowerpot, and th platform the pot is on . the radius of the platform , the height of the platform and finally the plants around the platform!.You needn't do the arrithmetic but it will show you wanted a longer one than you thinkIt's not your arm held up the snapper held up vertically, you have to take int account that being at an angle is longerPut in the box without opening the plastic bag so very peeved that a discount had been applied to current price. I am to receive so only about £28 back and the company will keep the difference!. I feel 'done'

Superb sharp tool that is very handy by its reach. It holds onto what you cut and reaches branches out of reach. Well made, very sharp, my tool of choice.

Not very strong, ideal for thin branches, should be extending far to short would not recommend.

It holds the clipping well. Just not as long as I'd hoped but can still get to the back of borders for big old b****r weeds. Have a spinal injury and might need to get a gardener.... gutted! But all in all, a good product at a fair price.

I love ease of use but was expecting it to be extending and disappointed that it isn't. It cuts very accurately and cleanly and is easy to operate
