I have different brands of these skimming blades and these feel as good of quality as the more expensive ones I have. If you need to skim coat walls or ceilings this kit will be a great start

Ordered as I was hanging drywall on a new addition of home. Nice set but definitely not professional quality as it has plastic pieces. It however would be a perfect set for any DIYer, meaning not for continual use. The blades came in a long plastic carrying case, that as long as you put it back the way you take out does a good job of protecting the tools.DIY - Yes, Pro - No

My basement bathroom was remodeled and the contractor did a really crappy job. On of the exterior walls was originally a tiny closet that was closed-in as an outer wall of the expanded shower. They did a horrible job. In the original layout the way the 2 sides of the face of the closet lined up were offset. They didn't try to correct this, so the wall has almost a step down. They poorly tried to conceal it with mud but it is clear as day.I picked up this kit so that I could fix their horrible work. The nice wide blade options really support the ability to smooth and sculpt the mud. The blades have a little flex to them, just enough to glide and smooth without digging. The long handle feels a little lightweight when trying to apply pressure at full extension, but still does the job. The case fits all the pieces nicely, but you do have to remember how they all go in for it to close correctly, it's not an obvious layout. The case itself is fairly rugged and stores the whole kits without worry of damage.I'm a fan and I think this would be a good adder for anyone, even the diy-er.

At $120 they performed well. Perfect for the DIYer not so much for everyday use. All comes down to value and quality which in this case works out very well. There are sets that are 3 times the price that have much better detail to construction, but that would not be a fair assessment considering the price. You can't compare a Rolls- Royce to a Honda as far a quality but you can say they both got you there!

Well built set of three drywall skimming blades with adjustable handle. Great tool for level 5 commercial finishes or for skimming walls after wall covering removal. Great price for a quality tool set.

My hubby loves the extension rod. He said it keeps the skimmer sturdy, and it has a great reach. They are also very durable. There is a size for everything. He's had no issues with them at all and highly recommends this set.
