Quality assured
Already had a couple of these cameras installed in my backyard since a year now and never gave me problems. Image quality is good and remains like that even after zooming in. I tested both storage supports -cloud and sd card- and they worked extremely well, even though a separate subscription is needed to use the cloud which worth the price due to the added capabilities to the push motion notifications. Its night vision, despite the selected mode, works as expected, triggering the alarm and automations linked in the Tapo app. Mountability was easy as well, even a guide is provided to do the holes precisely.

Goodbye Wyze, hello Tapo!
I’ll be writing this on all the Tapo cameras I’ve recently purchased. (4x C110, 2x C210, 2x C520WS)These are flawless, amazing, and so far ahead of Wyze it’s not even funny. They are massively affordable, truly need no subscription, have fantastic features in their app, can record locally to an SD card; everything you would want. Coming from Wyze (see more below), I didn’t know that cameras were supposed to act like this. I assumed, at Wyze prices, that I was getting what I paid for. But when I finally had enough constant stress and spent the money to change to Tapo… my life has been changed. Seriously, I probably added years to my life not being so stressed out all the time because my cameras never, ever worked right. These do, and I cannot say it enough times… if you’re currently using Wyze then get one of these. Use it for a week side-by-side and tell me what you think.Super light, have a few of mine mounted with ‘hard plastic velcro’ (3M Dual Lock). Setup is fast and easy, and works right away. Don’t have to do it over and over again (Wyze). Clarity is superb - 1440p quality. Night vision is phenomenal. Don’t really care about ‘color’ night vision - but my outdoor ones do have it. And one of the best parts is Tapo is part of TP-Link. What does that mean? TP-Link has been around for a very long time, and they specialize in networking equipment, LoL. So yeah, if you want a reliable camera on your network, who better to trust than a networking company.TLDR: Don’t waste your time on any other brand. Buy these. I promise you won’t regret it.About Wyze:If you’re like me and never wanted to spend thousands on home monitoring and security, then you may have stumbled upon Wyze cameras. At first, they were amazing - very affordable with no subscription necessary. And they worked. Over time, that changed drastically as they ventured into making everything else on the planet instead of focusing on their roots (cameras). They funded that stuff by changing to a subscription policy. And in their haste had multiple security breaches and problems such as other people viewing cameras that aren’t theirs. This is of course while the software and hardware has become so incredibly bad that they’re unusable. I mean, they actually do not function 92% of the time. Whether it’s freezing, not connecting, stuttering so bad that it looks like a PowerPoint presentation, app for closing, etc.

Technical-competency depth of cameras' rich features hidden by shallowness of instructions
After much investigation as to which home security camera system would best suit my requirements, I decided on a collection of the following models: the C520WS Outdoor Pan/Tilt, the C320WS, and the C210. The Amazon reviews were quite helpful for these investigations.I did have some trouble with installing the outdoor cameras (i.e., the C520Ws and the C320 WS), but only because the power adapter plug in the box was not designed to fit within a standard outdoor waterproof power gang box. After more research, I ordered a different, compatible power adapter plug to install these cameras. Others have pointed out this problem. But, after that, the installation process was very easy to follow and complete.Setting up the cameras and programming them for their intended operation was not so easy; it was a lot of frustrating trial and error. Without any instructions on how to do this, I could not find a way to eliminate the numerous false positive detections and was coming to the conclusion that these cameras were going to be unusable. So before boxing them up and sending them back to Amazon, I decided to call the TP-Link hotline for Tapo to be sure. I am so glad that I did. The fellow on the line was very patient with a now-frustrated customer and calmly took me step by step to first understand the basics of setting up the Home mode and Away mode. I was completely botching this step. He understood my frustration, though, and said that they needed to do better at providing instructions to their customers for discovering, understanding, and optimizing these settings.Okay, after all of this, why the five-star review? I have concluded that once you do understand the Tapo way of doing things, you discover just how wonderfully robust and adaptive these cameras really are. Moreover, in getting to that understanding, you also discover just how well Tapo Technical Support has your back.I am not longer getting any false positive detections in the Away mode. My confidence is growing with each passing day that I purchased the best system for my requirements. So, if you are facing the same issues that I have described here, I recommend you get in touch with Tapo technical support right away. Finally, I will say that these cameras are very cost-effective when you compare them with competitive alternative systems.

Great securitry camera
Great camera, tracks decent, good picture, easy to setup. I would have given it five stars but when set on 2k the tracking and video can be choppy and it stops and speeds up. if you switch resolution to 1080p it works great but you lose detail, I hope there is a firmware update in future to fix this I would give it five stars if it is fixed. Does a real good job of identifying people and pets, very quite when tracking

Great for a stall camera!
I have loved this camera for my horse’s stall. It connects easily to WiFi. Clear picture in color during the day and IR at night. Decent audio. Good playback options, including option for SD card if you want to review continuous playback. I also love that you can save certain views as presets and switch the camera view easily between them just clicking a button instead of manually panning each time. I would buy this camera again!
