I left off reviewing this for a while to give my great grans=d son the opportunity to break it and he has failed. Despite a lot of use over the Christmas period it is still in working condition and has proved to be a "go to" item.Fun and good value at the asking price.

My boys eyes lit up when he saw this! Very impressive looking monster truck. It doesn’t particularly drive brilliantly but as my son is only 3 it’s not bothering him as he can’t steer anyway! Would make a great gift for your little one.

I was very pleased with this car when it arrived. It’s a really good size and looks very smart, I knew my son would love it. Unfortunately, however, when he started trying to use it it did not meet my expectations. He found it very hard to control using the remote control and could not steer it in the way he wanted to.It’s such a shame because the look of it has so much promise.Also I prefer a remote control car with a rechargeable battery. This one requires 4 AA batteries for the car (included) and 2 AAA batteries for the remote (not included), so if your child does love it and want to use it a lot you are going to get through a lot of batteries!

Easy to set up and use, controls are simple enough for younger children to use. The truck is sturdy and strong enough to withstand plenty of action. Would make a great gift for kids. perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again

This is a fairly compact in size monster truck and my little boy really likes playing with it.The truck is very easy to control with the remote control and kid is really happy with it.The toy truck has lights and sounds , which is good as this makes it even more engaging for kidsHopefully my review was Helpful for you.

I can't really comment on value as someone that doesn't exactly acquire things like this often though as something aimed at young children I feel like its to be expected that it look rather simple, in the case of this one it claims to have 'realistic suspension' which I suppose is good even if its something you might expect from a monster truck. Its unfortunate that it uses AA batteries as I imagine it'd go through them quickly (it needs 4 at a time).As for driving it the very simplistic controls are kind of expected for something aimed at very young children (and pretty common too) though unfortunately it also means that there is a lot less control for where you are going which would likely make it more frustrating for anyone that isn't 6 years or younger. At least the range seems to be pretty good for playing outside where you don't need to care about precision as much.I feel that some people might think it'd still make a good gift but personally I am not too sure how recommendable it is.

This is a bright and colourful toy with a chunky design for both truck and remote control.There are batteries in the truck; pushing down the cab, you get the sound effects.The packing is good quality as is the item. 3 year old loved it; time will tell if it is long lasting but signs are good.Recommended.PS you need to get your own batteries for the remote

This red monster car toy has a attractive red design, which I think is good-looking. It comes with batteries for the car but doesn't include the required 2 AAA batteries for the remote controller. I find the car hard to control on hard floors and carpets. I gave it to my daughter, though, who doesn't complain about it. It is priced at £24.62 at the time of review, which I think is too expensive considering the performance.
