10 X 100 WATT BC PEARL LIGHT BULBS CLASSIC SHAPE TRADITIONAL LAMP (100)

These are not GE incandescent light bulbs.They are made by Crompton Lamps (in the UK), and labeled "Traffic Signal GLS".The box says:* Special purpose traffic signal lamp*Not suitable for household illumination*Internally fused for safety.That said, they actually ARE incandescent bulbs, but labeled so because incandescent household bulbs have been phased out by the industry.But I am disappointed that they are described in the listing as made by GE -a company that makes very robust bulbs. That's my main reason for only two stars. I'm generally not happy when I receive something different than what I am buying.It did arrive within a few days and the tracking was accurate and easy: props to the seller for that.The shipping box was very thin corrugated cardboard and very battered on arrival, despite having hi-viz red tape saying "fragile". The delivery driver said they the van was loaded by simply throwing packages into the back. We inspected the contents together, him saying that he would fully understand if I did not want to accept it due to breakage.But miracle of miracles, none were broken, and no sound of tinkling loose filaments were heard when gently shaking the package.It's very difficult to find high illumination incandescent bulbs now; they are in very short supply. It's very tedious on the eyes to struggle with the newer bulbs that do not give much light, so I was happy to see these on Amazon.I will return to this review with an update after I have used some of them for a week or two. Fingers crossed.UPDATE: These bulbs are really good quality. They may not be GE but they are as good as. Incandescent bulbs are almost impossible to find, but these are the real deal. I highly recommend this product and from this seller. At the moment (20 Oct, 2018) they are no longer available, but I hope they get relisted.UPDATE #2: I still like these bulbs! And happily see that they are back on Amazon. I used five bulbs. Two of them are on for many hours a day. One bulb has lasted from Sept 5 to Nov 27 before flickering (and I assume about to give up the ghost). 83 daysX18 hours is 1494 hours. Still a happy customer.New update April 30, 2020YaY! Dudes, these are the best bulbs. Placing another order. After months of use I am getting about 4,000 hours per bulb. Still a happy customer, and still recommending this seller.

I have already submitted my review in which I stated that one bulb burned out almost immediately. Unfortunately I had only clicked on two stars. I think the order deserves four stars.

Bought these on 13th Feb 25 and as of 29th Mar 25 nearly 6 weeks later I have used 3 bulbs in the same bathroom fitting all have now blown, 2 in a small hallway fitting 1 currently still working and 1 in landing/hallway fitting still working. The ones currently working have been replaced in the last week.I initially started to be concerned after the bathroom first blew and thought it might be my fitting itself as after having replaced my old light bulb after a very long time the fitting casing was slightly wonky.After it blew a second time in a short space of time along with the small hallway thereafter I thought it might be a circuit issue and was considering to call in my electrician. I then thought let me put one in the landing/hallway as I never have one in there as the hallway is lit by another bulb at the other end of the landing.So I had 3 light bulbs changed at the same time in the last week. As I've turned the light on in the bathroom this evening I noticed that it seemed dimmer than usual and literally within me thinking that the light then blew.I then checked the box and it says dimmable on one of the sides of the box. I then checked the description on Amazon and it does not mention dimmable anywhere in the description and then I read the reviews. Who would think you'd need to read reviews before buying the light bulb.I will now have to take out the working ones as I don't now consider them safe.So unless you want dimmable light bulbs DO NOT buy these.I will attempt to contact seller to get my money back as I now need to buy more light bulbs

St last , I've found a bulb that is bright and gives off a lovely fresh glow. Highly recommend

Don't buy... everytime I put a new bulb in it blows my lights - house is 10 yrs old so electrics are good.Last night put a bulb in and blew my circuit, cost me £60 for an electrician to change the circuit breaker.Since when was General Electric based in Belaruis. Give then a wide birth

Bulbs tend to blow prematurely occasionally, this is annoying, however the bulbs are still quite economical. So will continue to buy.

I bought a packet of 10 bulbs which I received end of February 2025. So far 4 bulbs have blown in that short space of time.Despite contacting the supplier. I have not received a response.Not impressed.
