Great pads!
Great product at a great price. My only complaint is when my two year old son said "Dada I am helping" and threw a socket into my exhaust pipe as I was putting these brake pads on. Other than that, 5-stars!

Good brakes, no noise after 200 miles
on a Triumph Tiger, I chewed through a set of EBC organic pads in one set of tires. Nothing left much of the brakes. That gets expensive Got these because they're the next step in durability. No noise, and they stop good. The directions are RIGHT ON. The first few times you apply them, they are weak until they warm up and get a good fit with the rotor. They might scare you once or twice before they break in, so don't push it. After 200 miles they settle right in, less in stop and go traffic. I hope and expect they will last 20,000 miles or more. I don't like changing brakes every time I change tires. Tigers are too heavy for organic pads in my opinion. And I am not that hard on brakes. Just interstate riding to work.

A Proper fit for 2015 Honda CB 500 X
Pads were an exact fit for my 2015 CB500 X NISSAN brake. Appear well made. Pads are a bit fiddley to get into the caliper. Be patient. Give the inside of the caliper a good cleaning including the pistons before installing. Also lube the sliding pins of the caliper. Lastly, the retaining pin will probably be corroded some. Scrape or sand clean. Add a VERY thin amount of grease on the retainer when assembling. Don't forget to transfer the anti-rattle / squeak parts from the old pads onto the new ones. Watch for metal tensioners inside the caliper falling out of position. Noticed solid braking with these pads. Seem excellent so far. Single rotor front brake has good stopping power.

Increased stopping power on my Honda Magna
This is one area where Honda cut corners to save on manufacturing costs that most late model Magna owners hate. These V-4 power cruisers accelerate much quicker than the two banger under-powered Shadows and really need two disc brakes on the front to scrub off the speed. The OEM pads Honda offers are barely adequate. Once these EBC sintered brake pads seat or wear in you will notice a big difference in stopping power and they might keep you from having a hot mess in your pants if you happen to get yourself in a tight spot. Speed never killed anyone, it's that pesky suddenly stopping that's the killer. If your brakes are making strange noises, as some of the other reviewers are complaining about, then it "sounds" like it's time to order a caliper rebuild kit and DOT 4 brake fluid which you can get here on Amazon. While you're at it buy the Motion Pro 08-0143 Hydraulic Brake Bleeder also available on Amazon for $12.59. It's a one person bleeder and is super easy to use IF you can follow directions. Don't be a scaredy cat. Learn how to do maintenance on your bike yourself and save some money. Go to youtube and watch the videos on bleeding motorcycle disc brake calipers because it's not a rocket science project.
