Replacing a previously faulty Grohe tap - similar to this.The pictures show it, but to see it in real life is unbelievable - the solenoid is on the outside rather than built in - it is an ugly plastic thing with 2 delicate wires going into the tap.Anyway, once installed, it is out of sight thankfully.The main issue with this tap is that the supplied (European) power supply has a very short lead and so had to be plugged into a socket in the bathroom/cloakroom. This is not allowed in the UK. Also, because it has the European pins, it need an adaptor making it big and ugly.I'm a big fan of Grohe, but not this.
