Absolutely fantastic. My first book nook and I can't wait to do another. Much easier than I expected. Not too easy tho. I found the instructions easy to follow step by step. Only the lighting and wires were a bit tricky. Tbh I've lit doll houses before and the same problem. Some wires I didn't allow to be long enough. Oh well.I found the breaking out of the pieces needed some effort. Such a cool idea. Fun to make and we'll worth the money. Was delivered quickly. Now it's in its pride and place. You do have some spares just in case something goes wrong. So I added some stickers and extra books in different places.A great show piece. Well recommend.

I have built quite a few of these booknooks and this one was such good quality. Easy to follow instructions and such a beautiful item to display.The price is so good for such a detailed one. Really worth the money.I would recommend it to anyone.

I built this over 2 days with a tiny tube of super glue and some craft tweezers for a few of the tiny parts. It was rather complicated and fiddly, especially the wiring parts, but I love it. It is fun and filled with loads of tiny details like a secret door. My favourite bit is the lighting which looks incredible now it's finished. Great value and works exactly as shown.

Imagine the feeling when a small world comes to life between the books on your shelf. This kit was a delightful journey from start to finish. Packed with meticulous pieces, including tiny furniture and a dust cover, it turned our living room into a mini workshop for a while. My 3-year-old was too young to help, but watching her face light up as the project progressed was priceless. However, do make sure you've got a crafting glue on hand and some AAA batteries. It’s quite a fiddly assemble, but that's part of the charm—turns out it's a lovely team project if you've got older kids or fancy a DIY challenge yourself. The end result with the LED lighting was simply enchanting, making for a unique bookshelf decoration. It did feel a tad pricey compared to other sites, but the joy and satisfaction it brought were well worth it.

I bought this (as I buy most craft related things) as a gift for my partner for her Birthday, as she'd expressed interest in these things before and we've got some bookcases that could do with a little brightening up.So gifted it to her and she was incredibly happy, her face lit up and I got a nice hug.Now it sits in the garage with all her other unopened, unworked on craft backlog and I'm pleased that she was happy but not quite enough to give it a full five stars as it wasn't enough to make her actually make it. Which is sad, I'd love to see it actually made.Oh well.Having had a peek into the kit myself, everything seems well made and relatively easy to assemble, if you're used to that kind of thing so go ahead and get one. Just... make it!

This is a really good book nook especially as it's on 2 different levels. However it is fiddly and I needed to glue more parts than was indicated in structions as some parts wouldn't hold together.It took me about 2 weeks to build as I was only doing on and off.TIP - make sure you mark the wires by length so that you use correct wire ( I used wrong lengthwire and had to take it apart)And don't get wires tangled up or they won't fit into space provided.

Instructions were easy to follow and very detailed. Very interesting project to put together and this was my first one and I’m visually impaired. This looks great on my bookshelf and I’m now hooked so have ordered another one. Fun to do and see it come together. Worth every penny

From opening the box to placing the completed nook on a shelf was an absolute pleasure.Superb quality of the precision lazer cut parts which are beautifully printed.Pressing the parts out is simple with no worries of damaging then, everything fits together perfectly. I only had two minor issues with fitment but these were easily rectified.I also had an issue with the light switch placement as it was completely unaccessable, this wasn't known until the last moment when you mount the front panel (which is one of the last things to do) so, after removing the top and unsticking the swith I was able to relocate it in a better place but still hidden from view.I used super glue as my main glue with a hot glue gun for the wires and a couple of the leds.You will find that some parts although not supposed to be glue with benefit from a drop here and there.The kit includes everything you need apart from glue. You don't even need a craft knife.Personally, I've always wanted to build one of these. As this is my first I can't comment on how it compares to other makes but I can say that this Cute Bee product seems to be a high quality product.
