Good and sturdy, no foam or soft shell for the pointer
Pointer is a hard shell plastic, good to play but kids can get hurt.

Will not clear 300g competition weigh in (272g)
The javelins work however they are NOT legal in weight. Official weight in put these at 272g and not 300g so they can not be used in track meets.We also had to receive a replacement since the first one kept coming apart. The current ones don't and work just fine.

Product not as described
The media could not be loaded. The javelins do not weigh 300 grams as described. Honestly was not impressed by quality either. Product felt very cheap.
