My rather expensive Braun hair cutter died after just 2 years service - and Braun wanted £50+ to repair it......So, I popped it in the bin and decided to go a cheaper route. Based on the reviews, I opted for these devices from Wahl. At £28, they are a bargain. A third of the price of my Braun and everything works so much better!You get the hair cutter, a smaller trimmer, a carry case and all sorts of accessories.The hair cutter is rechargeable - with a single charge lasting for ages. The cut length is determined by which coloured guide you opt for. There is a more than adequate range to choose from! There is also a small bottle of machine oil. The recommendation is to apply a tiny drop on the blades prior to use.I found the cutter extremely easy to use and surprisingly comfortable. It's also so much quicker than the Braun. I am impressed.The smaller trimmer is battery (1x AA) powered and works great for fine trimming around the ears etc. It is a tad cheap and cheerful but, to be fair, it does the job....So, overall this package represents remarkable value for money - so why pay so much more for a "branded" product?As you may have guessed, I am rather chuffed 😀 😊

Good clippers. Does everything I need it to, with fun colour coding - making it easy to remember which guard corresponds with each length.I find they catch in my hair/beard occasionally and this can be painful. This would be my only issue. Otherwise they have been great in allowing me to cut my own hair. I tend to still use my other clippers for my beard as the hair is thicker.

It's rare for me to give a product a PERECT 5/5 but this deserves it!. It's soooo good, that I use it for my hair obviously, but the wife keeps taking it to use on her mum's dog as she say's it cuts so good! (I wasn't too happy about that)As a wireless device I'm surprised to say that this hair clipper lasts a very long time on a charge, though it will naturally get hot while in use.It comes with all the different clipper size attachments, neck duster, combs and all that kind of thing you usually find with a pair of clippers.100% recommended for anyone who wants a wireless pair of clippers!. The best bit being that because it's wireless, you have more freedom to move around and not be stuck at a plug mains all the time.

A hundred times better than my old Wahl corded clippers. Lighter, quieter, smaller, easier to use and a long battery life of around 60 minutes on a full charge.It's a great set, that comes with all the accessories required, even a very handy mini clipper for detail trimming, all contained in a nice zip case.Thoroughly recommend it.

Very happy with this product. Used it for 1st time yesterday and I'm very happy with the wall brand. My old clippers gave up the ghost last week so needed a new set. The old one were wall and they have lasted me about 25, 30 yes. Excellent brand and this kit is well worth the money. Wall is a brand you can trust and the cutting results are fantastic. More than happy. Would highly recommend.

I bought these to replace a cheap set of life expired clippers from a high street supermarket, to be honest they were only a few pounds more expensive, but came with good reviews. I tend to let my hair grow, get depressed at the size of the bald spot and remove the lot in one go. The old clippers hacked their way through what was left, how best to describe my experience, ok, out of the box it’s fully charged, everything is neatly packaged, the clips for length are well thought out, it could do with some kind of holder to keep them in, but that’s asking a bit much at this price point. Into the bathroom, and buzz buzz buzz, hey presto it’s Balidlocks! The cat is now sniffing me to check I’m still me. It sailed through my hair, no tangles, no pinching, no nicks. I’m registered partially sighted, this was an absolute doddle, so even when I didn’t quite have it oriented properly, no cuts, abrasions, or other issues. It was very easy to clean using the little nylon brush, there’s a blade protector to cover up the sharp bits when not in use, that’s very easy to use. I did buy the bigger Wahl oil bottle to go with it, the small bottle is too fiddly for my eyes, felt a bit cheap, and you need to cut the tip off, the bigger bottle made more sense for ease of use, but that’s just me, although there’s enough there for a thousand lifetimes of the use I’ll put it to. I can’t speak for the different lengths of cut as I remove the lot. Compared to going to the barbers every few months for them to do it, it pays for itself inside a year. Also, the price when purchased brand new here was cheaper than the same item priced on eBay!
