Great Cause, Below Average Glove, 4 Year Old Loves It
The glove is cheaply made and not genuine leather. It does not break in well, and you risk tearing the material if you try to break it in like a true leather glove—don’t like the fact that the EZ-catch strap isn’t totally removable (though you can maneuver it around to the back of the glove). The fact that some amount of proceeds are donated to support those with Autism is obviously a great reason to buy this glove, but if it were me, I would suggest that those who want to do better by the cause make a direct contribution to the Autism charity and spend your money on a better quality glove. I’ll add that the glove is very lightweight so that’s a plus for a young player who lacks the musculature to handle a real glove. Bottom line: my 4 year old is crazy about the color blue so he had to have this one.
