I’ve used calm, balance and shine. I love them all! They are natural and really moisturize my face. Make sure you rub it in your hands a lot first and apply to moist skin like it says. It’s my mini self care moment every day.

I was expecting some kind of face creme when I ordered the J&L NATURALS HYDRATING FACE SALVE DRY SKIN MOISTURIZER, but this isn’t a creme at all. The consistency is more like wax or chapstick when it is cool and a lip balm when it warms up. It reminds me a bit of the way coconut oil becomes a solid when cool. If I had to guess I would say this melts at a much higher temperature than coconut oil does.The ingredients do include Carnauba Wax in addition to Coconut Oil and other natural ingredients, known for their moisturizing properties. This product smells absolutely heavenly! I can’t get enough of it. I put it on before bedtime and I am totally hoping my pillow will pick up this soothing fresh wonderful smell. Even if I don’t end up seeing any perceptible results from this, the smell alone makes me happy I ordered it.This company is serious about protecting the environment. They are committed, and it really shows in their unique and thoughtful product packaging. I think very few companies are willing to spend the money or put forth the energy and creativity that it takes to package this kind of product in a way that proves they aren’t just talking the talk. They really are walking the walk, by going to great lengths to minimize their environmental impact. That is something to be admired.I do think their products seem priced a little bit high, but I think it may be justified by the cost of their high quality, sustainability sourced ingredients, and their willingness to spend the money for unique, environmentally friendly packaging. It just may be worth the price for the calming wonderful smell, aloneLast thing: a little of this goes a long way. The directions say to apply a small amount to damp skin and if your skin feels oily after, to use a smaller amount of product. I think it will last quite a while.

This salve is a hard balm like texture thats a bit difficult to apply. The smell is a little too strong for me, it smells strongly of rose which kind of deters me from wanting to use this regularly because I am sensitive to scented products on my face. That being said if you go into this expecting to be applying somewhat of a greasy balm then you might like this salve more than I did. Overall it's a decent product but not something that I want to use in my daily skincare routine.

And it smells great. I have only used it for a week so not sure how it works on my skin. I frankly don't care. I love the cruelty free and sustainable choices this company offers.

This product is a bit greasy when you apply it and because of that I use it primarily at night. I was worried that it would cause breakouts, but it didn't. I have normal/dry skin, but will definitely get breakouts with some products. Not this one! I also love the scent which is citrus and clove, but it is strong. If you are sensitive to smells this might not be for you.

This IS for your face, I assumed it would be a cream or a serum, but it is definitely a salve. I’ve never used a salve for my face before so I was a little hesitant and unsure at first. I also wasn’t sure which “skin type” formula to select, so I ordered the “timeless“ formula. (I didn’t know this at the time of ordering, but their direct website has a quiz to help you determine which formula type to use).Since it is a salve, I found the easiest way to apply this product was to rub my fingertips in a circular motion to get the amount of product desired, then apply directly to the face. The directions say to apply a thin coat, but my face must’ve been extra dry because it soaked it right up, so I needed to apply another layer! My skin felt so soft, and moisturized! I used it all over my face, including underneath my eyes. This formula has a wonderful, refreshing smell, and I love it so much! I put this on before bedtime, and it was a nice soothing scent to fall asleep to. I definitely want to try other formulas!After using the product, I was so happyand impressed, I decided to visit their website. I discovered that you can take a little online quiz to help you determine which “skin type” formula to order. Remember how I mentioned I wanted to try other formulas? Well, now I know which ones I want to add to my “timeless“ formula regimen. Yay!I was also impressed to learn that this company is highly devoted to using all natural ingredients as well as biodegradable packaging.I love the smell and I love how it feels on my skin; two things I never thought I would say about a salve for the face!

I ordered the Timeless face salve for aging skin. The scent is unique and pleasant. The two things that jump out for me was It definitely smells like a natural product. Not all overly sweet like other creams. And it's really not a cream. It is a solid that melts as it is warmed by rubbing. I would have liked a spatula type utensil to keep the salve clean from being dipped in with my hands but that's just my preference and I'm sure they are keeping it less wasteful for the environment. Which is good. I also love that it is made in the US with natural ingredients and is a woman owned business. The salve is very potent. You only need a little and it goes a long way. Softens skin well. Does feel a bit tacky on skin but does eventually soak in. I only use at night before bed for that reason. I have also started using it on my fingers and cuticles and it is doing wonders.
