Funcional
It’s amazing device that can transport HDMI (up to 1080p) signals for long distance. Please do not waste your money for 50’, 60’ or longer HDMI wires, I don’t understand why they make and sell long cables. HDMI can’t not connect if it’s bigger then 25’. This is the solution. PLEASE BE CAREFUL ABOUT YOUR CABLE CHOICE AS WELL. First I tried Cat5 and I see k oh red color pic, then I switched to Cat 6 and all color came back normal. Excellent solution for surveillance system.

Works great
Worked perfectly, much cheaper to run cat 6 then an hdmi cable for any distance. Easier to fix and troubleshoot as well. Saved me a lot of headache and money.

These work great!
We use these to extend hdmi out to different tvs in the bar/Restaurant and keep all the cable boxes in one easy to access location for staff. The RF feature makes turning them all simple when opening up for the day!

Absolutely Amazing
So first, this is really an HDMI to SFP adapter, and that matters.I tested this with other SFP to fiber adapters, and it works, absolutely great. I am waiting for SFP CAT6 10G adapters, because I honestly want to know if it works. One thing that is important, it needs that 10G bandwidth, the transmitter and receiver will see each other with slower SFP adapters, but the video signal will not work. But I tested with 75 meters of single mode fiber, and had absolutely no problem, lossless 4k 60FPS.I know there are not a lot of situations where HDMI to fiber is feasible, but... when you need it, this adapter works, period.

One way transmitter
This connection system works wonderfully - great picture quality with extremely low latency. But be aware that this is a one way connection, such as from a A/V receiver to a projector. No possibility of two-way communication over single mode fiber.
