A great organic low-cost substitute for your non-organic crushed red pepper.

Arrived quickly, packaged well and a fresh spice! Have used for many recipes and have not been disappointed to this point. I will continue to purchase when needing crushed peppers for future recipes!

I keep these on hand for multiple reasons and we tend to go through a lot. I'm always happy with Frontier products.

Looks, smells, tastes fresh. Very hot, but great for stews, sauces, chili, and soups (a small amount).

Hot chili flakes are the best flavor enhancing agents I have ever found, with fresh squeezed lemon possibly coming in at a close second. This may be industrial sized, but for my husband and I, we actually like these chili pepper flakes so much that this huge bag does not last very long. Perhaps this is why we never come down with colds or viruses......we kill them all with hot pepper fire in our bellies. The only time I would not recommend eating copious amounts of this spice, is within an hour or two of a hard workout or going out surfing. You will feel the burn in places you should not, like literally, it feels like some of the heat gets into your lungs and you're breathing air in and out from a raging fire burning within an old time stove on a cold winter day. I may be a medical professional, but I can't figure that one out.

As with a lot of the bulk products I get, most of this is given to friends. They all rave about it. Winner.

Great on pizza and curry, carnitas and General Tso chicken.This and some oregano and I can claim my chickens are never given antibiotics. Nature is wonderful.
