A GREAT Timex
This is undoubtedly one of the BEST watches I've had from Timex in years. Its relatively easy to use without any instructions, though I'm sure some people will have issues.I managed to find online a pdf of the instructions, but they didn't cover ALL the features of the watch, but I'm pretty confident I've worked it all out........ eventually (through trial and error). The build seems strong and very comfortable though just 50m of water resistance is a little poor these days, the strap is soft and supple, FAR better in feel to what you get on a G-Shock costing double the price, so well done Timex and its VERY easy to attach or remove. It feels solid but light on the wrist and i can barely tell its on, most of the time and seems comfortable being worn all day (even in bed), its certainly designed well. Its also well equipped with activity functions, though i have found that the 'calories burned' reading to be WAAAAY OFF the expected range (possibly 10x the actual amount) so I'd seriously disregard its readings. All other functions work well and as expected and the display is extremely clear and easy to read while stationary AND whilst active - something you CAN'T say about other watches. This is an exceptional watch for around £40 and a great everyday watch which is also ideal for travelling abroad with its 2 time zones visible at once.A bargain.

Loses 1 star due to water resistancy; other than that - great!
I really do like this watch. It's easy to read; but also easy to operate; packes with useful features. If I did the Ironman triathlons though, i'd be wary about swimming it. I haven't tried swimming in it mind you; but I am reluctant. Final note on the Operating system - i've seen more expensive digital watches with less features and harder to operate. This watch ticks a lot of boxes.

Don’t bother
The only good thing about this watch was the price and the big numerals. Cost me £38 and this had been reduced. Apart from that, there were no instructions, it’s unreliable in terms of mileage walked which is the reason I bought it. That saying, if you buy cheap, you buy twice comes to mind. Never again. This one will end up in a charity shop. Don’t waste your money. You’ve been warned!

Fantastic one with [ to a 50 y.o old] far too many functions.
First of all I love Timex and have got four or five of them in my collection including Coca Cola vintage 1971.However this one is on another level. Have never had a watch nor Timex Ironman , nothing like this amongst all my watches from Casios to German Iron Annies and Swiss Roamers [ they are all budget watches, I am not showing off]This Timex is almost like the new era Samsung/ Apple and other smart watches but at a bargain price. I will never crack all its functions but it is visibly targetting the youth.Personally, I do not need all these calories, pedometers and all health freaks' info. I just need time, date with day of the week for my work related, daily logging and the regular hourly chime for moment of prayer and reflection. It's also the very first watch I have had that you can turn it off or on, back again if unused in long periods of time.Overall. Great looking watch with basics and loads of extras [ if you have got brains to get into them]Highly recommended watch for the old and young ones.Bargain price. Thanks to Timex and Amazon.

Like it
Look i only got this to use as a watch and the big screen it has.i dont use the features that are on it at all.The 3 things i like are the big screen, the indiglo light, and the fact that you can actually turn the screen off.It should save battery life.
