New experience.
It writes nice despite it is not exactly like fountain pen - one can not change line width noticeably by strong or light pressing. The number of refill colors is poor compared with pen ink colors available fro various manufacturers. At the same time the 5th type refill price is 2 times higher than Parker ball point refill. But this pen is not like ballpoint or roller for sure. New experience for me. Worth trying. Chances are It finds addicts. As to me, well, I am an old men and I prefer old good fountain pen with M or F size gold nib. My current choices from relatively non-expensive pens are Pelikan M400 or, less expensive, Diplomat Excellence A+ series with F 14K gold nib and brown ink.

Not a fountain pen, but a beautiful pen nonetheless
The feel and weight of this pen is really nice. Note, this is not a fountain pen. It is a fiber tip pen that looks like a fountain pen. It isn't cheap, and the refills are a little pricey, but it is a beautiful pen and it writes well. In my experience the ink for this pen dries faster than fountain pen inks, so it is a nice pen for lefties.

Not for purists, perhaps, but...
...I have of these as well as several Parker Duofolds and I really like the 5ths. I am not sure if Parker is still making these, and refills are a little harder to find than they were 10 years ago. Reviews from hardcore fountain pen addicts are unkind to the Parker 5th; it is, after all, a felt tip with a fountain pen-looking nib and this alone seems to infuriate some folks. But, it is a pleasure to write with, very easy to refill and is a very well-balanced and attractive writing instrument. It is also hundreds of dollars less costly than most of the Duofolds.

A life-long Parker fan who is very happy with this concept
I love this pen and the control it gives me over my writing. It allows the touch of a fountain pen with the convenience and ease of a ballpoint. It brings back the joy of handwriting. AND it's a PARKER!

You didn’t write this beautifully before!
Always been a Parker pen & calligraphy fan but been typing on computers for the past 40 years. Started out writing again recently with the Jotter Ballpoint I know from the old days. Decided on the Ingenuity and once I had that, my writing improved leaps and bounds. If you think this is an expensive pen, it costs $100 more here in Europe!Does what it says on the tin. Couldn’t be happier!

Ink drying fast even with closed cap.
The ink drying fast even with closed cap with inability to write for long time after it. Dissatisfied.

Great pen
I really like this pen. Writes very smoothly without being a fountain pen, so it doesn’t need the care of a fountain pen. Definitely different from the average pen. Would be a good gift for a person who has a passion for nice pens.

Definitely like the style of this pen and how it feels ...
Definitely like the style of this pen and how it feels when I write with it, but the ink doesn't seem to last that long and is pretty pricy when buying just one ink cartridge. The ink is also not so easy to find locally.
