This is my favorite semi permanent dye! I've tried the magenta, purple, and clear and enjoyed them all. The reason I unironically bought clear was to use it as a hair mask between times I actually re-dye it because it works better than any other product at keeping my hair smooth and tangle free. One bottle will also last me a while, unlike other dyes, so that is also a huge plus

I love voodoo vegan hair color. I have used several colors and they all work great. They smell amazing, don't burn or harm your scalp, the color lasts and they wash out with time. Best part for me was that my shower remained unstained and my hands were able to be washed with soap and no color left over. I recommend this brand for healthy vegan hair color anyway!

The title is temporary, but the description says semi-permanent and "long lasting." When looking for a costume hair color, you don't want something that stays in for weeks. How about update the title to match the description?

While mine turned more red (I did keep it on for more than an hour), it still turned out a vibrant color. My hair already had highlights in it and I just wanted to change it up. I was looking for more of a copper orange (kinda what’s on the pic), but definitely some red tones came though. Biggest thing for me is I formed an allergy to hair dye and this did not cause any reaction or scalp irritation.

I have been dying my hair since I was 15 years old. I've tried many products and been to many different salons up and down the east coast. And I have never walked out feeling completely satisfied with the time and money I spent to do my hair. Even doing it myself I've ran into many products that just use so much harmful chemicals and smell terrible and basically wash off by my 3rd wash. I have never even had a vibrant look regardless of the color I'd choose because my hair is stubborn, doesn't hold in color, and definitely doesn't like the chemicals. Just wind up with dry, damaged, bland hair. I'd also like to mention that I have very curly 3B hair, and it pretty much has no water retention, and always looks dry and frizzy regardless of the amount of heatless and healthy hair products I've used. I've invested thousands of dollars in my hair to achieve the look I want while keeping my hair alive through it all. But when I tell you this is the first time ever using a hair dye that has left my hair silky smooth, healthier than it was before, and it looked more vibrant and beautiful than I expected. I was so afraid this was going to be another product that I threw money away for. But I promise you this is going to be my forever brand. The process of leaving it in my hair I noticed it was very oily, and when I washed it out it sudded up just like shampoo, I conditioned it and dryed it with a hair towel and not a single stain on my bathtub or towels. I styled it as usual with my normal products from brands like carols daughter and was to my surprise, left with the most beautifully vibrant and soft curls. Long story short, it's an inexpensive semi permanent hair dye that works better than a permanent hair dye, it doesnt cause any dryness or damage, and I have enough left in my bottle to dye my hair again. I see nothing but a big Win with this brand and I will be coming back for more. It smells like berries and it is so easy to apply. Just follow the instructions. Clean dry hair, no conditioner, seperate the hair into 4 sections, i suggest brushing your hair before applying the dye if you have similar hair textures as I do. Brush or comb in the dye so you can really work it into the hair. And let it sit 45 mins. Wash it out, condition it, style as normal. There was no color difference of the product from the pictures on amazon vs the bottle in real life and there were no color differences of when it was aplied to my hair vs washed out. Give it a try. Its inexpensive, a healthy alternative to hair dye and overall a great product. I garuntee that I will be buying this product again and trying many different colors with my new hair journey development.

Washes out pretty fast even for a semi permanent dye. But very bright color.
