Coolplay Water Pens, Replacement Water Drawing Pen Set - Pack of 10

Bought this as a replacement pen for our aquadoodle travel mat. The pen that came with it is pretty frayed.Those pens fit in the pen holder but it's a tight fit since the original pen has a smaller diameter. With this pen, my daughter is not (probably yet, she just turned two) able to put the pen in by herself - she was able to do this with the original pen.I personally like that the pen is bigger because it holds more water and I feel like my daughter can hold this one more easily.It works perfectly with our aquadoodle mat and I didn't have any issues with the tip not getting soaked with water.

Great replacement pens. Tips seem to pick up some color from the books but didn't affect their coloring ability at all. These are so much sturdier than the brush type tips that the water wow books come with initially! They are more like a marker versus a watercolor brush --which is going to last longer in the hands of a scribbling toddler?! 😉

We use a certain brand of magic water books that have these little water paint brushes. The brushes wear out fast, so I sought an alternative and found these. These water markers work great and hold up much better than water brushes. I only wish there was a lid or two included to make them a little more portable.

These work GREAT for the Melissa and Doug Water Wow Books! My 2 year old son flattened out the original brushes that came with the Water Wow pads during the first use. They stopped working well right away. So, I looked online and I ordered these as a replacement. I’m so glad I did! These don’t flatten out and continue to work very well!

Ordered these based on a review that said, "Just get them"! Have to agree 100%. The Water Wow brushes seem to last only seconds after 3 year old pushes down on them -- then gets frustrated when they don't work well. These brushes are great. Easy to fill and they don't leak. We have had several coloring sessions and they continue to do their job without showing much wear. (Tip seems to be a paper product? Not a plastic brush.) So much better than the original brush. I would recommend ordering these when you order your first Water Wow board. Signed, a Happy Grandma.

These pens are great, but I didn’t realize they do not come with a lid. Lids would make traveling with pre-loaded pens easier so the water wouldn’t leak out.

These work great with my sons aqua doodle pad. They've held up so well to his abuse and stabbing that he calls coloring. So far they have lasted much MUCH longer than the original marker/pen that came with the pad. They also work very well on the Melissa and Doug water drawing books.

These pens work great for a replacement for the brush tip Melissa and Doug ones that our 22 month old mashed into everything until they barely made a mark on her water books (one of our cats also let her "paint" him with it so that didn't help with the brush tip!. The Coolplay pens hold more water than the smaller Melissa and Doug ones, make a legible line for practicing drawing and letters, there are a bunch so it's ok if you lose one and the tip gets wet quickly once the pen is upside down. The only downside to them is that when they are first filled, if you lay them down they will leak water.
