Ketocip Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for Dry Scalp, 2% Ketoconazole, 100ml

It's cheaper than Nizoral, does the same job, smells the same too I think. Cleared up my dandruff, job done.

This product works well but smells like very cheap old lady perfume. I would give it 5 stars if they removed the terrible fragrance that gives me a headache. I will buy again as few other options.

I was first prescribed this by my doctor to treat a fungus infection, however the infection wasn't on my scalp but my skin. This is to treat dandruff so I was a little bit confused. I applied it to my damp skin anyways and left it on for a few minutes before rinsing. It dried my skin out rather than treat it. Used also as a shampoo and scalp seemed to be clear but it does damage your hair so you'll need conditioner. It's an OK product, but not for longterm use.

Great but expensive

So I’ve been using the main market brand of proconsuls shampoo for years, but like everyone else have really struggled to get hold of it over recent months. My seberrhoic dermatitis had flared up again so I decided to give this brand a try. I actually prefer it to the more popular brand. Works well to control itch and flakiness (probably an equivalent to other ketoconazole brands) however I prefer the smell of this one and finds that it lathers better when trying to wash your hair. I also think it works out slightly better value for money per ml than the market leading brand. Will be switching over to this brand for future.

I bought this online as it was cheaper than Nizoral, thinking it would work as its the same active ingredient but no! I'd use it 2-3times as usual but within a day the dandruff was back and the itching would never really stop. It was constantly snowing on my shoulders which is quite embarrassing and made me very self conscious. I would not recommend. I've gone back to Nizoral and I can already see a significant difference from the 1st wash.

Way better than traditional shampoos.
