Case is as good (almost) as pelican
Don't get me wrong if I had the $$ I would get pelican. But for less than 1/4 of the price, this is a darn good case. It is thinner plastic, weaker pull out handle and handle latch, but come on, for the money this is a darn good case. Seals well, latches and carry handles are solid. If I had a 100k camera, I could afford a pelican, but since I am an owner of and may cams and income is far less, then this case is perfect.Overall: it is a good case, solid, and a great value.

Great case for a name brand alternative
I've been using this case to carry permanent jewelry welding equipment from location to location for a few months. It seems pretty sturdy and works pretty well. I've owned a number of pelican cases in the past and they are built heavier than this case but those situations called for an extremely durable case. This is what I would call a good mid-weight case for most things where you don't need extreme protection and prefer a lighter weight (literally) case. Happy so far.

PERFECT CASE FOR THE RIGHT PRICE
My gear is safe, and comes with foam and features in case you are looking to add a lid organizer like the 1515 case from Pelican or apache from harbor freight.took it to the beach and added my camera gear and worked very well keeping sand out and splashes of water.handled vegas heat as well during my work on the festival grounds. overall a great product and price.

Works as expected
The latches pop open rather easily so make sure you use a lock or strap for airline travel, also the telescoping handle is a bit flimsy but overall a nice case for the money.The foam inside is nice and the seal works really well.
