Writing review after 4 years. Still going good. No issues. Fan power, speed good. Light weight. Reasonable size for 1 person. Very easy design to assemble and de-assemble.

I can't believe I managed so long without a fan! I live in an old house which is relatively cool (you wear a jumper indoors and remove it when you go outside), but the last few days have been unbearable.I looked at the reviews and this one appeared to be good value, well the reviews were correct, it also arrived next day due to being on Prime.The fan requires a little assembly, but follow the instructions and it's a breeze (excuse the pun). It has a fairly long flex and has 3 settings, I usually keep it on 2 during the day and 1 during the night, it uses very little electricity - I have a smart meter and monitor every new appliance I plug in!It's been on non stop day and night for the last 3 days and helped to keep my two house rabbits cool who seem to like the new addition to the home.There is a little noise, but it was no competition for my hubbys snoring so I can honestly say it didn't disturb him! Once I persuaded him to stop his usual nightly serenade (with a well directed prod in the ribs) I nodded off and had a good nights sleep,I'm considering purchasing another one, so I don't have to move it around the house.

I love this fan - bought for my bedroom so needed it to be quiet. I know noise is in the ears of the hearer but, for me, this fan is not loud at all even on the highest.It has 3 settings, tilts easily and oscillates. I love it for the semi it as there's less to go wrong and for the price it's brilliant!For my living room I bought a tower fan for over 3 times this one's price and although it looks rather smart and has a remote control it does not give out as much cool air as this. And if what you want is a fan to cool down with effectively you won't go wrong with this fan.The only down side to it is when putting it together there's a tiny, tiny screw holding the cage firmly together. This was a nightmare trying to screw together and put the miniature bolt on the other side. In the end I dropped the screw and has been lost in the sofa. So its now held together by a small piece of sticky tape. No big deal really, but it could have been help together with 1 more clip. Not sure why they didn't do that hence the 4 stars.

Great quality product. Nice and quiet and a huge relief in the stifling heat. The tilt action doesn’t require any fiddling with twisty knobs, just tilt the fan and it stays where you want it. Nice, smooth oscillating movement or it can hold position equally well. Took under 5 minutes to put together.A certain department store who is ‘never knowingly undersold’ sell the exact same one for £20, so this is great value

Lifesaver for drowning out noise at night. My last one lasted about 3 years of nightly use before it suddenly died, and I knocked it over a good number of times over those years. There are endless noises I simply can't sleep to, and this fan isn't one of them!Of course, it's cheaply made, but it works like any other fan. From time to time, and likely depending on each uniquely manufactured fan, it may have a slight rattling/clanking sound, perhaps from time to time, so may need a few random "adjustments" in such moments. As for use as an actual fan, it was pretty decent if I remember correctly.

Firstly, these are generic 12” fans, but I’ve never heard of Q-Connect, so wasn’t bothered. I’ve ordered 3 of these fans now. The first was bought through ‘waxacar’ last year and is fantastic quality for the price (under £20). So I ordered a second one this summer, which came through ‘Express Next Day Delivery from UK’, it was awful. Flimsy, noisy and missing some of the more aesthetic parts such as the little disc for the front, needless to say I returned it! I checked the listing and ordered again through ‘Motionperformance - Waxacar’ who I presume is the same supplier that I ordered from last year. It’s arrived and seems to be just as good as the first. So, 5 stars for waxacar and 0 stars for Express Next Day Delivery from UK, leaves me at a 3 star review. If you want a great cheap fan, then order through waxacar!

It's like magic you press the button and it moves the air around, and you can press other buttons to make it move more air faster and when you're bored press the left button and it all stops and then you can start again....plus you can pull the thing on the top and moves the air in multiple directions....I can't belive someone made this it's genuis and why have they not got a noble prize?Seriously It's a fan it works as expected.
