This is the greatest doghouse 🐕 ever for my cats needs! Yes that's right, my cats needs! 🐈 They absolutely love it! ALL the cats actually go inside and rest/hangout/sleep.With two people it's easier to assemble. Directions are on point.Fits on my porch perfectly and my outside cats are warm with an animal heating pad that keeps them cozy during freezing 🥶 weather. I am going to see about someway to keep it cool in the warmer/hot 🌡🥵 weather also! The 2 story cat house I had didn't accommodate them and their needs. It was good for chickens though. 🐣🤷‍♀️I recommend this house for any animals you want to provide shelter for. 🏠 Oh yea and The opossum that comes to try and eat our cats food (we pick up the cat bowl at night). I don't want it to become reliant on humans instead of its own teachings and so it'll continue to teach its young how to forage naturally. It used to like to kick my cat out of the 2 story house so now the cats don't let it in this new one! 😆

My neighbor has 2 outside cats, and she got another kitten who comes over now too. It is big enough to fit at least 4 cats comfortably in it. I got an outside heating pad for it and they love it. The roof is sturdy, the ice has built up on it and it's fine. I wish I got a picture of the whole house but the kitty pictures are cute. It stand a few inches off the ground which I like. The flaps get stiff though but they still work. We did have wind and snow and it blew into the house but I just opened the roof and swept it out. The insulation makes it warm up in there fairly quickly. I'm glad I got it for them.

Easy enough to put together with 2 people. Very easy to clean with the top being able to lift up. Wood seems very sturdy. Unfortunately my 7 month old Aussie destroyed the inside liner within a day or two (he loves to destroy any type of fabric) but other than that, it has held up great, especially for the price. It seems to be roomy enough for him to hang out in comfortably.

This is a great doghouse, especially for winter. We put straw in it so our dog couldn’t get the inside too dirty.It’s nice, and our dog loves it when it’s cold. She has never cared for doghouses, but goes in this one.

We bought the dog house under the assumption that the dimensions in the product photographs were correct. We had the box lying around waiting for the weather to cool down before we set it up (past the 30 day allocation for return). We opened the box recently and put it together. It seemed much smaller than we had thought but we put together the item nonetheless. (The item was no longer in original condition for returns). When we finished, to our dismay, our dog could not fit in the house, so we switched houses with our smaller dog who did not like that one bit. We were annoyed, but sucked it up. We only noticed how much smaller the dimensions were than expected when we went to buy a bed for the house, but nothing would fit based on the dimensions in the photograph. We measured it and noticed the actual difference. Only then did I scroll down much further to find the actual dimensions of my product. OK, I know what you’re thinking… I should have checked all of the parts before purchase. But I’m also thinking: a picture is worth a thousand words! Anyway, we messaged the company and got no response. I’m here in hopes people check the one star review so that they can double check the measurements before purchase! Also the hinge part never worked (but that happened with our other house we bought so that might be a me issue).

I love it because my dogs can’t bite the metal around the house 😅

While I couldn’t get my tortoise to use this for daily use, ultimately, it did come in handy for the winter months (and bad weather) when tortoises slow way down. You can’t use a heater with this design but I live in a dry temperate climate for most of the year. I closed off the front with board and laid hay interior. Tortoise seems well off. Thanks!

Once together the design is beautifully but overall for the function, I was very disappointed with the quality of the materials. All sides are very thin. The bottom/Wood floor was not sturdy and is not equipped to hold weight. A heavy dog will most likely break it over months of use. When drilling the wood split very easy. Also you can see through each wood peice once together. I would recommend putting a thicker peice in the bottom of your dog is more than 50lb. The insulation is also thin. Roof feels like it’s made of particle board and the coating used for the shingles is some type of spray. Easy to rub off. It has metal peices to hold the top for easy access but the first time I closed it they bent. I’m not giving this house two years before I will need to purchase a replacement. If your dog is a chewer it will definitely not last a few times. Size was true. Fit my large dog as stated. Has legs to keep it off ground. I willUpdate as it weathers.
