Professional photographer here… I’m a HEAVY Lightroom user on my M2 iPad Pro 11 when traveling- lots of masking and hundreds and hundreds of Sony A1 50mp raw files. IPP11 used to eventually dim the screen because device would get hot since it’s being worked very hard with fast extreme editing. I tried out this cooler and it fits great when adjusting the included brackets & easy to disassemble for flights/travel. I gaffer taped the bracket sections after I fitted it so I can just remove 2 ends from the fan and it won’t fall apart. But this latest job/trip, the IPP11 dimmed screen after some serious editing and I put the fan on it and within under a minute the screen went back to full brightness and I could continue editing hundreds of photos- screen never dinned with fan on. I’ve only used it a few times and can’t speak to longevity, but I can say it DEFINITELY works at cooling a serious hot M2 IPad Pro 11 in extreme scenario. I may pick up a second eventually in case this one goes bad, but when I’m editing at home I use a full sized laptop cooling base to edit on ipad when I don’t want to use MacBook Pro Lightroom.

Not for gaming

The built quality is amazing, it keeps my iPad Mini cool while watching videos and gaming.The heat dissipation performance is mind blowing because it cannot be affected by the ambient temperature like the conventional fan so I hope that the CPU throttling issues can be avoid during long gaming sessions.
