Was to point were I had to plug in controller every couple of hours, not getting long life from a full charge.Would have been nice to have instructions with this item, and removal tools, but quick search on web showed exactly what I needed to replace the battery in my controllers.

These batteries were very easy to install. They have 2 connectors to accommodate two versions of the PS4 controller. The original PS4 controller batteries were 800 mAH. These are over 3x the charge volume. So far they're working great. They provide plenty of operating time on a charge. I can't comment on longevity - only time will tell for that.

So the product works great. Both my PS4 controllers would only last 3 hours on a full charge. These last a few days. The only downside was the original PS4 usb no longer charges them. Luckily the supplied usb allowed me to charge them, but that was an unexpected twist. Otherwise it would of been 5 stars.

I installed the correctly and I had a new charger, port and charger wire. I connected them for over eight hours and now, one of the batteries held to charge. Yes, they got hot. Yes, the light was on to signify charging, but when it came down to it, neither battery held any charge taken away from the USB plug.

The battery is an exact match to what was printed on my battery that I had to replace in my PS4 control in regards to mAh. It installed easily with no hang up and fit in the slot correctly. For the first month it was grand not having to be tethered by cord to play my game. I am not a hard core gamer yet I do like to play once and while so having conveniences the way I like is always nice. I most likely played a total of perhaps 90 - 100 hours without a glitch of loosing battery life prematurely. I am use to my old battery which pretty much lasted me well over 7 hours of play when I would decide to sit on my tushie playing games all day. This new one did such yet as I stated it only lasted that way for about a month. It started dropping off slightly after that time period and is now at about 3 hours of game play if that. I am tethered once again because what game player want a Mutant to kill you?I am glad that the package came with two. I will be installing the other one and my hopes are that that one will work longer than the first one, smh.
