Everything I needed for success
Everything I could possibly need to make the latch and deadbolt fit and work was included in the kit. The quality of the materials was great and installation was a breeze. Highly recommended for replacing storm door hardware.

needs edit to be more flaxible
Take review with grain of salt - not used for usual purpose. The lock is fine.Lock is fine, smooth action, looks decent enough, price is best for this type of product I could find. It surprises me that this type of lock was so pricey but its price was the best.I used this to secure double louver doors to each other - the catch plate had to be installed on a custom fabricated block with recess to accept plate attached on the inside of the stationary door. Would be great if they included another plate to make that install easier, or market as a different product to not include that piece as garbage in everyone else's order.Fit in the border around the louvers perfectly, I bought it for the small profile and clean look. If anyone else wants to do likewise, I used an oscillating multitool to cut a recess out of a little block on the other door, then secured the catch plate inside the recess and screwed the block to the other door. Cheaper and easier than replacing the door! Nonstandard 40" doorway...

Identical to some of the more expensive ones in the home improvement stores. I've bought two for Larson security/storm doors. They do what they're supposed to do. For the price, you can't beat them.

Needs to be cut to size
Ordered it for our glass sore since we lost the last key. The only thing is having to measure it to fit, but was easy to do.

Easy to install
Needed a deadbolt for a storm door I bought from Lowe's and this did the trick. Be sure to have some bigger drill bits! Comes with keys and works great!

item broke one week after installed. Would like to return or exchange but window closed. cannot use lock. had to call a locksmith & pay $75.00 to open door. I feel like even though return window is closed this item should have worked longer than a week. It took 5 weeks before my installer could install the door. Please find some may to replace.
