Easy to use
Great little switch which runs my home network. It's fans are a little noisy but as this lives in the study it's not too noticeable.

Amazing piece of kit
I've recently upgraded from a Netgear 48 PoE to a UniFi 24 PoE and I know I've made the right choice. I would highly recommend to anyone who's after an upgrade!

Great switch so far, but the original fans are noisy !
I have just moved over to the Ubiquiti Unify hardware, purchasing a Dream Machine and a 24 port POE switch. Apart from the learning curve on my part, all are great and appear to be very good value for money if looking for more features. One important recommendation if you are considering buying this switch is to purchase two of the Noctua fans I have linked below, and the 3/16 drill bit to make the mounting holes slightly larger.Fans: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071J8CZP9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Drill bit: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00PM4TRVM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1After replacing the fans, the switch is very close to silent and not the constant noise that made me look into acoustic rack cabinets, which are at least ten times the price of the two fans and drill bit.Look in YouTube for videos of how to swap, but it is very easy and all done in under 20 minutes. One note: You will need to remove a sticker on the back to remove a screw which no doubt voids the warrant, but that was a price I was prepared to pay to reduce the noise and save some room by not needing to purchase a cabinet for my office.

Works Well
Installed for a small office and so far it's working well. Provides PoE, connects everyone at 1Gb and easy to managed via the web.

Nice product let down by lots of fan noise.
Works well with other UniFi products as you’d expect! The only downside is the noise generated by the fans, definitely not a unit I’d want near me for any length of time... once it’s out of warranty I may be looking at replacing the stock fans with quieter ones.

Definately not for any form of residential use!! (-45db at 1m distance)
First, the good bits. The Unifi Cloud Controller adopted the unit easily and immediately notified me of the presence of new firmware, which it proceeded to apply. It powers the AP-AC-Pro and Cloud Controller, eliminating the need for both a POE injector and a USB-type power supply. Management is easy, with the capability to aggregate ports for NAS boxes with multiple interfaces, servers, etc, so top marks here. Now the bad bits.If you're even thinking of getting this for a home installation, FORGET IT!! With 4 air vents, and probably the same number of fans running constantly, THIS UNIT IS AS NOISY AS HELL! Would be fine in a datacentre, where the level of noise would be acceptable, but certainly not in any form of residential installation (not even a wiring cabinet in a cupboard under the stairs!!).
