I love this stuff. I've been using it on my tattoos, my hands that have been dry from winter, and even my face after washing. It's thick and has a bit of an oily feel, but it soaks into my skin quickly. It's chock full of natural ingredients and it feels much nicer on the skin and on my hands than any standard lotion ever did. My tattoos are older but look a little darker after it's applied. I only use a thin layer on my face but it helps restore the moisture barrier I exfoliate off in the shower. The scent is my favorite part, I can't quite place it but it smells so good, almost like a delicious tea blend. I highly recommend giving this a try.

This is a very rich (read "oily") tattoo balm. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I definitely applied it wrong the first time. I'd previously had more lotion-type balms, and had to apply them a little thicker to get them to really soak in. I did the same with this one, and it was a mistake. A little of this stuff goes a long way, so if you're going to do it right, you need to apply very thinly. It's rich in oils, and will make your colors shine and pop, but too much and you'll look like an oil slick and it won't soak in fast. I had to blot it that first time because it lasts so long. (Not a bad thing - just have to use it right.)The texture is different from the products I've tried before. It's sort of gelatinous - not really a cream or a lotion, but something between a cream and a gel.The scent is really strong. It's not a bad scent, so I don't necessarily mind it when I'm at home, but it's not something I'd be comfortable putting on before work or socializing since the scent, to me at least, is powerful and noticeable, and doesn't really blend with the scents I wear intentionally. But that said, it's a botanical, earthy kind of smell that I think works better for men than a lot of scented balms do, so it's more versatile than some.

This works well and is super easy to put on in a thin layer as recommended for newer tattoos. While I appreciate the ingredients they don't smell great

It is nice to find cosmetic products without crazy ingredients.The balm is about the consistency of a good lip balm or lipstick in a tube. It goes on smoothly and makes your skin feel soft. It settles in and just feels like well hydrated skin after a couple of minutes. The teatree and peppermint give just a hint of a cooling effect that carries on for awhile.The scent is definitely there but not at all overpowering when on the skin. Very light. The most forward scent is the peppermint, followed by the teatree and myrrh. The lavender and rosemary are in the background.The container is nice, too. It is a bit taller than a tobacco can and the diameter slightly smaller. Easy to have in a pocket or purse and a good size for travel on a plane. The lid is a screw on style lid and would prevent messy mishaps.I like this product and really appreciate the not harsh ingredients. They are safe and must be tasty because my dog licks it off as soon as he sees me. I am considering a second container to keep in the camper.

Not overly greasy, a little goes a long way. It didn’t irritate my tattoo at all. I used this about 24 hours after getting tatted. I only changed the second skin because it filled up. I applied a thin layer and then put the second skin on. It smells good, has healing ingredients and no additives to cause irritation or infections. You can trust this, I used it while in the most vulnerable stages.

I love this tattoo aftercare because it feels great on. It’s made from natural, food-grade ingredients, including beeswax, shea butter, aloe butter, and infused oils. I’m using this on some permanent cosmetics tattoos, where a little goes a long way. This is not a huge container, but the quality is lovely. It’s fragrance-free, and has no silicones. So I like what’s in it, and I like what’s not in it. Recommended!

Easy to apply, maintains pliability to skin while protecting the tattoo. Son is very pleased with this product. Great price point.
