I NEVER review anything but I had to review this. My back and front garden is normally swamped with ants nests causing a lot roaming on the pavement slabs all spring and summer. Now the spring has sprung I wanted to prevent the ants from roaming as much as they normally do! I normally use powders but they blow/wash away quite easily and it’s quite messy! So I tried to find an alternative and found this! I’ve used the watering can all over my front and back grass / pavements / door frames etc. for 2 days now I have seen NO ANTS in front or back garden and have been sitting outside most of those days. This stuff is really worth a buy. Easy to apply and works brilliantly. Just what it says on the tin! I have used nearly 2 cans of this however we do have quite a large space to cover. I have some left in the second can to put over any nests I may see appear in the next few months. So far I’m so so impressed 5 star from me !! I’ll repurchase when needed !

I've used several ant killers including Karsten at twice the price. Unlike Karsten this damages grass a lot less and seems possibly more effective on concrete slabbed areas.It has no odour and I use a sprayer to squirt into nooks, cranies and nest holes. I would say that it's 80% effective and we have not had ants get as far as indoors the last 2 years.I flood all areas in early May and then just target new appearances every couple of weeks. It works for us!

I bought this in 2021 and left in several bags and it's original bubble wrap up until now. I basically forgot I had it. I was moving things around in the shed in preparation for gardening and the yearly war on they little scumbags and came across this. I have "watered" the patio and some of the areas they emerge from research year and aside from three odd stray have seen a noticeable decrease in activity. I haven't moved into the driveway yet but am confident that there will be similar results. Now I would have thought it would have lost it's effectiveness and perhaps it has but not enough to buy work for a short time. It was kept in a box which was waterproof and damp proof so that might have helped. In any case I'm fairly impressed. I gave other weapons on hand still but will must likely but another canister. Now that it is heavy and can need cumbersome. If you've ever filled a watering can up and tried to be precise with one hand you'll understand what I mean. But thatc aside it works well and the watering rose allows for reasonably precise distribution. Oh and it was wrapped and protected exceptionally well on delivery.

My lawn had 20-30 separate red ant nests this year and they were literally everywhere, so I tried this product and it worked brilliantly. I can't fault it.First I removed as much of the ant hills as possible with a trowel, digging away some of the ants and larvae in the process, and then dug into each nest with a garden fork to create holes in the nests before pouring this treatment directly over the nests. I used it liberally, pouring almost the whole container over the nests and sprinkling generally across the rest of the lawn.I'd say it had an instant impact as I didn't see another ant after this. The lawn hasn't suffered either and I am now happily ant free! Very effective treatment.N.B. I only have a small lawn, so if you had a big lawn then you'd need at least 2 of these, but it would be worth it and I would definitely recommend and buy again if needed.

I don't know how it works but we didn't get any ants inside the house last summer after i put this down the holes around the house.
