ECSEM Replacement Soft Silicone Bands and Straps Compatible with Garmin vivosmart HR+ ONLY (not for vivosmart hr) with Tool and Screw

Just installed this replacement band on my Garmin Vivosmart HR+, and am very pleased how well it looks and fits. I first removed the portion of the old strap with the buckle (the strap portion with the opening for the button) from the display of the HR+, cleaned the corresponding mounting area of the HR+ display portion with isopropyl alcohol, and then attached the matching end of the new strap portion using the original screws. I then removed the other strap portion (with the size adjustment slots) from the HR+ display portion, cleaned off remnants of silicone rubber adhesive (that Garmin used to secure the strap to the HR+ display portion) from the other end of the HR+ display portion, and used a toothpick to put a small amount of clear GE silicone adhesive on the inside surfaces of the open end of the new slotted strap portion. I then slipped the open end of the new slotted strap portion over the other end of the HR+ display portion, and secured it with the original screws while maintaining pressure to close the strap-to-display portion joint. Care is necessary so as not to disturb/damage what appears to be an antenna visible at the end of the HR+ display portion that is covered by the open end of the slotted strap portion. The installed band looks just like the Garmin band, although the buckle is more shiny and doesn't say "Garmin," and the little loop used to hold any excess length of the slotted strap portion does not have the small protrusion inside that keeps the loop in position. Overall, I'm very happy with this product. Now I'll see how long it lasts. The original lasted almost 2 years.

I was looking for a replacement for my Vivosmart HR+, this one looked to be the best alternative out there. Got to say that the quality is pretty good but you can tell the differences between the original and this one in the quality. For instance this one catches smell easily and the keepers are low quality, when doing exercise is easy to have the band loose.Also keep in mind that the replacement is not easy since the GPS chip for some reason is attached to part of the band, I broke mine while trying to replace bands cause didn't know about this and had to solder the parts back in so I could have back the GPS feature (this will apply to any replacement of the original band you do and only for the HR+ model).

Be careful. This does not fit all Vivosmart HR+ activity trackers. The strap that fits over the power button fit like a glove with no issues. There is no way the strap with the latch is fitting on the opposite side of my Garmin Vivosmart HR+ activity tracker. It doesn’t line up, and there is an interference between the activity tracker and the strap. It’s impossible for it to slide on to the tracker. And the tool they send you is too small to remove the screws. You need a T6 torx bit. Throw the tool they send you in the trash. It’s as much junk as the latch strap is for my application. It’s a complete waste of money. Will not buy again. Cannot recommend.

Unfortunately after a few years of use, the bottom half band of my Vivosmart HR+ broke and thus I needed a replacement, and this replacement band worked perfectly for over a year now! It comes with the tools needed, like a screwdriver to loosen the screws holding the band in place, and replacement screws in case those were lost/broke as well. FYI, especially for the OCDers out there, this replacement band is black on both sides (which I think actually looks better), while my smartwatch for example is black on the outside and grey on the inside, so it does look a little off when seen from the side, but it doesn't bother me at all. Would def recommend if you are in need of a replacement band for the Vivosmart HR+ and will buy again if needed!

I very rough on my watch bands. In my job and off time I do activities that my watch band comes into contact with. The first watch band I had, my original I had crushed from a baler roller (farm equipment) I bought this exact watch band replacement. The second watch band I destroyed was due to wear. I had rubbed much of the texture off and tore the band. I have re-ordered this product again and this time got a couple bands. This band is a great option for replacement on a vivosmart HR+. Extremely easy to install. They give you the necessary screwdriver and new screws. I have ordered this in the past and if available or if my watch lasts I'll order again .

OMG! This replacement band is amazing! Easy to replace! Durable! And a wonderful way to save hundreds of dollars! I used this item as a birthday present for my son. He's always working out at either the gym or at the YMCA and his strap would tear. I tried to glue it but to no avail. Then I began looking online for solutions since I didn't have $180+ to contribute. When I came across this site, and there were many to choose, I was convinced the item would work. The website was specific to my needs and the price want too bad either. Today, my son proudly wears his replacement band as if he received a new Garmin Vivosmart HR+. The OEM band on my fitness watch has long given me trouble. Finally it gave up the ghost, so I decided to try a replacement strap to see if I could save the cost of replacing the whole thing. I loved that the screwdriver was included and the swap of the old one for the new one was very easy and went very quickly. The band seems quite durable, I put them through everything!Update: It lasted 11 months. To me, that's a win, and I'm re-ordering.
