Perfect conference addition
Everyone in our office uses these. We mainly use them with “teams” to conference call. Sound quality is great, very easy to use.

good speaker
Speaker works well. Great microphone. Every once in a while the volume is turned way up. Realized I might be accidentally be touching the speaker, which can adjust the volume. Once I watched for that it was not an issue. Good design over all. Wish my computer had this stuff built-in.

Excellent conference speaker for Microsoft Teams calls in the office and on the go!
In our new age of remote work, the need for high-quality audio has become utmost important. This Yealink CP700 conference speaker entered my radar, promising unparalleled sound and seamless connectivity. The design of the speaker is simple yet elegant and looks very good among your office accessories. But it's not just the aesthetic appeal, but also the thoughtful placement of controls, contributing to its clutter-free appearance. The quality construction, coupled with a palm-sized circular shape, emphasized the speaker's quality. My primary reason for getting this speaker was to improve my Microsoft Teams calls, where the inadequacies of laptop speakers became apparent. The Yealink CP700 speaker delivered on its promise, providing the highest quality, crisp and clear speech tailored for communication platforms. The 2 built-in noise canceling microphones, a critical component for remote calls, outperformed my laptop's built-in mic by far, ensuring my voice is captured distinctly even when I move away from the device. The touch buttons, illuminating subtly around the speaker bezel, are not just aesthetically pleasing but also exceedingly functional, offering volume control, play/pause/call, and mute options. The volume “halo” around the speaker, appearing only during adjustments, minimizes visual distractions - a thoughtful and practical design choice. It can be used via USB wired connection or wireless Bluetooth connection. The speaker has a built-in USB cable that is cleverly wound up and hidden in the base of the speaker. I also have to emphasize the reliable Bluetooth connection. Previous experiences with wireless options had often been marred by skips and drops, but the Yealink CP700 speaker delivers a robust and consistent connection. The built-in rechargeable battery further enhances device's mobility and flexibility when moving around the house, while traveling, and on-the-go.End-to-end, transitioning from uncomfortable headsets to this Yealink CP700 conference speaker significantly improved my work-from-home experience. The mute button, with its red indicator, proved to be a valuable feature, and the up-and-down volume buttons, accompanied by a visible “halo” around the controls, were easy to use. It effortlessly replaced both headsets and traditional speakers, streamlining my remote collaboration setup. It also includes a travel hardshell case, which will come handy for sure.*** TL;DR ***Yes, I definitely and unequivocally recommend this Yealink CP700 conference speaker! Designed for remote work, it offers Hi-Fi audio quality, an elegant yet functional design with touch controls, and excellent portability. It addresses the shortcomings of laptop speakers in Microsoft Teams calls, delivering clear speech and superior microphones. The touch buttons are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, with reliable touch detection. Bluetooth connection is reliable and streamlines the user experience. Solid 5-star product!+++ Pros +++1) Truly Hi-Fi audio clarity.2) Exceptional 360 audio pickup.3) Quality construction and elegant design.4) Illuminated touch buttons.5) Reliable Bluetooth connectivity.7) Intuitive controls and feedback.8) Built-in USB cable.9) Includes hardshell travel case.10) Not expensive at all.--- Cons ---1) Can't daisy-chain several speakers.2) Only two built-in microphones.

I'm not impressed
The Teams Certified component sold me, but I'm far from impressed overall. Coworkers still announce that I have an echo, and I need to understand why the Teams option doesn't automatically activate without me selecting it.

Excellent portable speakerphone that really shines with multiple people using it
Yealink might not be a household name, but they've got a solid rep among remote workers and similar types for making high quality, full featured audio devices sold at a decent price point. In particular, they make great headsets--arguably the best value in the market. They've now got a very broad catalog that includes earbuds, headphones, headsets--and speakerphones--among other things.I have to tell you that I was very resistant Initially to these speakerphone 'pucks'. Actually, I hated the very idea of them. I had a Bluetooth headset for the computer, a Bluetooth earpiece for other situations and speakerphone connectivity in my car. I do my best to avoid meetings and when I can't avoid them I'm typically the only person on my end. I've got other devices for music so I didn't really see much need for the speakerphone devices.Historically, speakerphones in general have been awful to deal with. Until recently, the call quality was so bad that it was considered downright rude to make a call on a speakerphone. Even so, there were blowhards that considered it a 'power move' to do so. If you were on the other end of a call like this it was brutal--you got to listen to the aforementioned blowhard's echo ridden bloviation. If you managed to get a word in edgewise, invariably you couldn't be heard clearly and it wouldn't be long before Mr. Blowhard was cutting you off and talking over you.Fast forward to a couple of years ago--someone gave me a speakerphone puck made by a well regarded brand as a gift. I told they guy I would try it out and to my surprise it was extremely useful. Call quality was excellent on both ends of the conversation. It interfaced nicely with the various desktop assistants and was a decent option for music. I started to view it as the 'Swiss Army Knife' of remote working audio. It could handle just about anything. Now I won't leave home--or even walk into my office--without this type of device. In fact, this Yealink CP700 now my dedicated office 'puck'. It can stand 'toe to toe' in terms of quality with any similar device on the market. Where this device *really* shines is when you have multiple call participants in your office with you. It has 360 degree voice pickup and a full duplex microphone. Two omnidirectional microphones miss very little from anyone involved in the call. I've tried more of this type of device that I can count and this might very well be the best available for multiple voice/conference call situations. You can connect this speaker via USB-A or Bluetooth and connected to just about any device imaginable. I've used it with a few different cellphones, my desktop computer and my laptop computer. The interface is really simple yet highly functional with sleek touch sensor buttons that let you control all of the relevant functions. It looks as good as it performs. All the better--the device is surprisingly small and weighs less than a pound. Just an excellent speakerphone for multiple use cases. Highly recommended!
