This apron has been a life saver!!💕. I use it in welding class. I stupidly was wearing a pair of jeans that had been cut to to my length I am very short and they were not hemmed. A rod stuck to my rubber on side my boot and the bottom of my pants were on fire 🔥. I felt leg getting hot. I saw fire and my apron reaches my shin. When I bend down to beat fire it flared up the side of my jeans about 8 inches high 1 inch wide. . I wrapped bottom of apron around my leg and held it tight until fire was out. I felt stupid wearing it at first. But after the fire I will always have my apron on. What a life saver! It does make everything yellow but It washes out. I washed mine and it stopped. On guy said it wasn’t a good idea to wash it. It has become very soft from wash and wear but I don’t have a problem with that. I like it better soft and it prevented me from getting burned. It also stops sparks from entering into the front of my shirt!! It is to hot in south Mississippi for the leather coat plus I won’t have had the long bottom that wrapped my leg to smoother out the fire on my jeans. It is comfy, thick enough and well worth it. I was lucky I couldn’t afford the jacket cause this has proven to be the better deal all around. The long length is a plus!! I washed mine two or three times to help bleed out some of the yellow. I did that after wearing once washed with an old sheet. The fire was after it had been washed and it worked well. I think it was able to wrap tightly around my leg since it was softer after the wash. I have not washed since. I like the burn on the leather to remind me what a great job it has done! So it keeps sparks off and has put out fire! What a wise purchase

I got this for blacksmithing and it has held up pretty well. The material is fairly thick and does a nice job of protecting my clothing from sparks. My only complaint is that the fit is a little wonky. It might be perfect for a man’s body, but for a busty woman, this is not the greatest fit.

This is what you expect a welding apron covers your front good. This is not high fashion - serviceable utility wear. I needed this for brush clearing. I have a holly tree! that needed trimming and the leaves are like razorsthis works great ! I have not tried this out yet with welding but it should work fine as expectedGREAT PRICE !

For the price they are ok. I don't like the straps my old leathers only had 1 clip to put on and adjust these have 3 to adjust.

This Welding Apron is terrible, I wore it for a few days at work and the apron fell apart. The only way that this can be used is if I can get the apron sewed back. Too much money for this.

visited my Nephew and watched him burn a hole in a brand new shirt welding something. I knew I would find something on Amazon and sure enough I found this item. It is of great quality, very light in weight (nephew told me he had one, but it was weighing him down and was too hot). You should have seen his face when I handed him the package.
