This is good quality turmeric! You can tell by the texture, but the taste will make you a believer. Prior to this, I was using organic turmeric from a jar and it was so very bitter. And it wouldn't mix with liquid so it was a chore to take it daily. But this is totally different. The first thing I noticed was the lack of bitterness I had experienced with the jarred stuff. Tumeric, by nature is bitter. But the bitterness was about 90% less than the jarred stuff --- you can barely taste it! And it mixes thoroughly with almond milk so it is a breeze to take. All in all, a very quality product at a very nice price!

What you'll notice right away, if you've had lesser turmeric, in the past, is how strong the smell and taste are.Turmeric this potent isn't for everyone, but it unmistakably is high curcumin turmeric, at a great price, and, if that's what you want, that's what you get.

This one is the one that stains if you are planning to use it for your skin…. but mine smells fresh and looks fine to me

I use this tumeric in my smoothies, oatmeal, and Indian recipes. It is very fresh and flavorful.

I bought the same product around 2014. It comes in a bag now instead of the container it use to come in. I haven’t opened any one of the bags I bought yet, but they look good through the bag!

Seems pretty potent- smells and tastes much stronger than what I've found in the spice aisle of my local grocery stores. I use it in my smoothies, so hard to tell if I'm getting any specific benefits from it, but seems to be helping reduce my back pain by reducing inflammation.
