I needed to remove a few of the links for it to fit. Helpful tip: keep your fingers out of the way when doing so, as the instrument is sharp and if it slips, you could end up with an injury. I thought I might need to take out one more as the watch is a bit looser, and can move a bit on the wrist. However, the device hasn't had any "hiccups" or empty recording spots, so it must still be making contact just fine. So far it hold the device snugly and I really enjoy the look of it. If I were going to be active frequently, I would probably swap it for a mesh band for better breatheability, but otherwise, the look of this band is very versatile and looks appropriate in all types of situations and environments. A good purchase & I would buy again.

I bought two of these in two colors. They’re not perfect, but so far (after a few weeks of wear), I love them both. I had never removed links from a watch band before, but it was easy enough to do with the tool provided. I got one band with silver hardware that I was able to connect and disconnect to my fitbit easily and for securely. Then I bought one band with rose gold hardware, which is a light rose gold. Neither one match my gold lux, but that’s fine. The second (rose gold) band was not as good of a fit. It was hard to connect and I was worried I’d break my Fitbit forcing it on. In the end, I was able to connect and disconnect it without a problem, and it has stayed on just fine with constant wear. These are plastic and lightweight as others have said. I really like the design on these and the colors should last - they are integral to the plastic, not just painted or applied to the surface. I’m also sensitive to nickel and these did not cause any kind of skin reaction.

The tortiseshell print looks nice, and not so sporty.The default silicone bands don't work for my skin and for every FitBit type device I have had through the years I invest in aftermarket bands that don't irritate, chafe or look like cheap stuff.Unfortunately this band detaches soooo easily. Adjusted it down for my small wrist size ( a challenge in band shopping) and re-added links to see if that would help with how flimsy the connection is to the device.The brand markets falling off with zero effort as a convenient quick-release mechanism. Even after tinkering, this band has a connection so tenuous it falls off when tossing and turning at night, taking jackets off or putting them on, and just a ton of normal daily activities.Saving this band to wear with more formal clothing, and now I know to be extremely careful when wearing this band to make sure my Luxe doesn't end up lost.

It looks nice, but it tends to break away from the body of the Fitbit, so you are at high risk of losing your watch.
