This review is kind of funny. The room I ordered it for, it didn’t work but it worked for another room which is where we’re using it for!

Was on my way to return this remote and I then read the instructions. Make sure you set the DIP switch (located just inside the battery compartment) to the same code you have on your original remote. I unjustly gave this product a 1 star rating on my Alexa devise and was my error. Product performs as advertised and is of a good value. I will purchase this product again if when needed a replacement to my CHQ8BT7030T, Ceiling Fan Remote Control.

I love these remotes..so easy to program and when one does wear out..no problem..just order a new one and only have to set the program to what was in the old one. Excellent product and lasts forever. Would buy this product again.

It is the same remote as the one that doesn't work anymore because of a loose wire inside, but this new one doesn't work at all. I can't return it it's past the return time.

I had my original remote for 15 years and then one night out of the blue it stopped working. Of course I googled it like most of us do. It brought me to Amazon and to this product. You need to read the back of your remote to make sure you buy the correct one.There was no setting anything up all I did was put the battery in and pointed it towards the fan and it worked. This one is even better made than the one that came with my ceiling fan. The buttons are so much better then the original one.

I had this remote for years and years it finally quit working this year and had it replaced. It works great. I’m sure I’ll have this for years and years too!
