Takes a bit to get used to, but I've recommended it and would buy it again.
I am a 911 dispatcher. I previously used the Tri-star. I was worried that it would be hard to get used to the earpiece on this one. However, it comes with numerous different sizes for the in-ear piece, so I was able to find a piece so comfy, I can forget it's there. The sound quality is good, both transmitting and receiving. The over the ear piece is bulky, though, and falls off at least once a shift. (I wear glasses. Someone without glasses may not have the same problem.)Almost a year later, I am revising my review from 4 to 5 stars. It rarely falls off any more. I have to bump it pretty hard. The sound quality is still great. My partner just ordered the Starset, also, and is happy with hers, too.

Crystal clear sound.
This is crystal clear sound with perfect, comfortable fit!I can hear everything clearly, and most importantly, they can hear me on the other end. I use this for VOIP communications with TeamSpeak and Discord.Be sure to buy the USB adapter otherwise it won’t connect.

PLAN ON REPLAING 2-3 YEARS AFTER PURCHASE
I have bought 2 of these and neither one has lasted more then 2-3 years. It is rather frustrating to show up for work and put this on and only to find out that it decided to stop working, when just a "few" hours ago it was working fine. I wish I could find a replacement for it, but I only need it for a couple more years then I won't have to worry about it any longer.Like some others, it can be a pain to wear while wearing glasses and it doesn't fit snuggly behind the ear like it should, can slide off/pop off unexpectedly.

Headset
I had a headset with foam ear pads over my ear.. I purchased this style because I had a hard time hearing dispatch communications on a radio. This style is perfect because the hearing piece goes into my ear canal and I can hear so much better. It’s lightweight and more comfortable than the “over the head” type. The “mic” works very still, the audible quality on the radio is superb. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Great product but it has one issue
Excellent headset l am a PD dispatcher and was looking to purchase my own unit instead of using the standard issue. The set is extremely lightweight and a fantastic purchase for the price. The ear piece is soft and fits inside the ear perfectly and comfortably. The unit comes with a number of different size ear buds.My only complaint, and that of so many dispatchers, whether it be Plantronics or another brand is how uncomfortable the hook over the ear is. One must constantly adjust and readjust to make it feel comfortable. I don’t know for the life of me why any manufacturer cannot resolve this ongoing problem. If it weren’t for the over the ear discomfort I would give the product 5 stars.

Great sounding & comfortable headset
This is definitely the most comfortable headset that I've used for conference calls at my desk. I've even started plugging it into my phone because I like it better than my bluetooth earpiece. The only complaint I have is that the cord material used for the headset is a little bit stiff and not as flexible as other headphone cables I have. Would be nice to have a more flexible cable. Also, make sure you get the right adapter to convert the custom audio connector to your device of choice (3.5mm TRRS in my case). Highly recommend for comfort and quality!

Worked for 2 months then stopped
I had previously purchased this headset two years ago and it worked well for 2 years. I ended up replacing it because it stopped transmitting sound. This review is for the replacement headset which, after two months, stopped transmitting voice out. I could only hear an echo of my own voice in my ear bud and no one on the other side of the phone or radio could hear me transmitting. I can't use the over-the-head style headsets because with glasses they give me a headache halfway into my shift. It's extremely disappointing that a suitable headset that went over the ear would stop functioning two months after purchasing - especially since the sticker with the manufacturing date says May of this year.

Works great
I think they work great. I’ve used them as is and also when wearing glasses. To me they hold better when I wear my glasses than when I don’t.
