The real thing
Worked as stated. These are brand new in the box with factory seal and a much better price. Does what it's supposed to do. No issues here. They shipped right away and arrived in perfect condition.

Genuine, great price, but had a couple DOA
These seem to be genuine HP Procurve parts. If they aren't then they are the best fake job EVER. They come in a procure box with 2 HP tape seals. One on the box and one on the clamshell plastic case. The gbic is also branded HP procure with serial number and everything. They are legit. The weird thing about these, is I bought 6 of them and the first 2 I unboxed would not work. When plugged in they would just flash every second and the log on the switch would say "This switch only works with revision B or later". After confirming on the HP website that the switch I had did support them, I called HP and we started troubleshooting. I ended up opening a 3rd box during the troubleshooting process, and lo and behold it worked! All the rest of them did too. So I'm returning those 2 bad ones. But for this price it is hard to beat even if you get a bad one now and then. We're about to replace about 50 switches and need these gbics until we get a new fiber network next year, then we'll upgrade to a 10gb backbone. For the year that we'll need them, the price on these gbics is right. I'll be buying several more of these in the coming months.

I think this is pretty bad.
This Modules are not genuine, I think the buyers should know it.... You must put it in the description, THIS MODULE ARE NOT GENUINEEEE.You just put a Photo of the real and genuine modules and send anothers. I think this is pretty bad.

Can't LACP, Prone to drops.
These GBICs are rated for my Procurve switch but will not trunk and lose connection at the drop of a hat.I have gone as far as moving the two switches I am trying to connect to the same rack and and using 3meter Fiber (the shortest I have) to connect them. They are still failing and still un-trunkable.
