Always had make-shift towel roll mount. Bought this, nice and convenient and a fair price.

Quality
Good quality and you really need this if you use the big roll of towels. Works great.

The rolls this unit holds are awesome, the unit itself is OK but would be better if a little wider.
The unit does come with mounting screws, however I did not use them. After assembling the pieces that snap together (kind of like tent pole sections) I realized the mounting holes are not 16" apart, so it is not possible to mount more than one screw to a stud. This unit loaded with heavy towels is too heavy and too frequently used to mount to drywall alone, so I cut a piece of 5/8" thick shelving about 18" wide and mounted that to the wall, then screwed the unit into that using better screws. With construction screws installed and a firm back board for it to rest on, the unit became much more sturdy and all of the "play" between the pieces was eliminated. After installing this I would say the X70 role is almost too big for this dispenser. Although the picture seems to show anX70-size roll installed, it is quite a challenge to get the roll into the holder. The bar that goes through the hole and rests into the slot on each side is somewhat difficult to install given there is zero clearance on each side; the unit would work better unit if it was about an inch or two wider so it could more easily accommodate the roll size.Other than the issue with it not being wide enough, this unit works very well once the paper towels are in place. It is worth installing, because the towels are awesome. I think the X70 is probably way overkill, and I'll be looking at the X50 or something along those lines when I finally make it to the bottom of this roll (that could be a ways off).

Awesome Towel Holder!
First off, all these other reviews must have been written my people who struggle to tie Velcro shoes. I’ve seen people (pictures) hanging these on drywall’s and are surprised when a 25lb roll of towels falls off. I’ve heard of people saying the roll doesn’t fit, or it hits the wall when it’s loaded, if you put the CORRECT size roll on it, it works perfectly. “It’s hard to install” “It doesn’t have instructions”. YOU LITERALLY CAN’T PUT IT TOGETHER WRONG. And to think, all of you people can drive a vehicle that weights 2 tons and manage ok, but a 2lb towel rack is going to get the best of you. WOWBottom line is, use your head and have some common sense. I thought the people who this was targeted towards would have more mental fortitude to be able to install a towel holder and use their problem solving abilities if something goes a miss. I’ve learned that most bad reviews, of nearly all products, are written by people who cause their own problems, and then complain how it’s the products fault, when I’m actuality it’s their fault. Maybe they should buy the toddler game where you have different shapes to put in different holes and maybe they’ll be qualified to put up towel holders after a couple years.

Great bubble wrap dispenser!
I saw someone on YouTube who use this in his home office shipping station. Gave it a try and it works perfectly! Just make sure you buy the bubble wrap that’s on a roll (Walmart) as opposed to one that doesn’t have a hole in the middle (Office Depot). I did leave off the bar that goes across the roll because I wanted it to roll freely.
