Excellent gift for children!
I love this product! In an age of mindless television and video games this book teaches kids how to draw and I would imagine have a lot of fun doing it! It begins with a table of contents and valuable instructions on the best way to use the book. There are animals, dinosaurs, everyday objects, insects and plenty of images to draw. Each page has 4 images to draw, each more progressive in its completion. This is a great teaching tool for a child to learn what each object is, as well as develop motor skills in drawing it. The fact that there are so many objects to draw, makes this book a tremendous value. This is a gift for a child that combines learning and fun and has long lasting value. Perfect!

A well-thought-out guide to drawing
"How to Draw for Kids Ages 4-8" provides just the right level of detail for a children's drawing guide. Getting from point A to B to C to D was very clear, and we weren't left confused by how we got to a certain spot in a drawing. Having the "already drawn" aspects of the design in grey was very helpful because it was clear what we needed to draw for a certain step. These designs aren't simplistic, either. Our favorites were the dragon, rose, and various facial expressions. They were complex but presented in a way that made for easy-to-follow drawings.

This is such a great book because it can walk you through drawing animals, vehicles, objects, and people. The book displays an easy step by step process that is very easy to follow and it is a good way to practice drawing a variety of things. I would definitely recommend this book to children and even adults like myself who struggle in drawing things because this book made drawing easy and fun. Furthermore, the book also gives you the opportunity to be creative in your drawings.

How to draw for kids
I am a teacher and my students love drawing. This was perfect for my kindergarten and 1st grade students. The drawings were easy for little kids to follow. This book is perfect for 4-8 year olds. It also has a nice variety of pictures for kids to chose from. I actually liked having it’ll the book on kindle version because it forced my kids to actually draw each step rather than just tracing the last picture like they do with my hard copy drawing books. A great little drawing book.

Love This Book!
I really love this book. It is a very unique 4 step technique for teaching young children how to draw. I feel that younger children may need more guidance from their parents or another adult to get started. But what a wonderful way for parents, grandparents and so on and their children to spend quality time together. I think the categories of the pictures in this book will appeal to both girls and boys, Animals & Dinosaurs, Fairytale Favorites, Vehicles & Machines, Everyday Objects, and People. I think this would also be an excellent tool for teachers teaching younger children how to draw.

What a great book for beginning artists!
This is a perfect book for young kids to learn to draw! (Also, great to keep on your phone/kindle in case you're stuck waiting somewhere with nothing for kids to do.) The instructions are very straightforward and easy for kids to follow on their own. The book has lots of tutorials for characters and items kids love -- from mermaids and giraffes to airplanes and people. If your kids enjoyed How To Draw Cute Animals they'll most likely enjoy this as well.

Nicely presented and understandable
The steps required to complete these figures, most of them of interest to little kids, were clear and simple. With younger children, some adult guidance and demonstration and repetition will obviously be helpful. I might add that I enjoyed doing these drawings myself. I've never been much of an artist but doing this was fun, suggesting this may be a nice task for a child and a parent to share.

Great technique not only for Children.
This book is great to learn new techniques for drawing and basic artistical developmental methods. This book is amazing on how simple drawing real can be by taking picture and breaking them into bite sized pieces. I would recommend this to anyone looking to start drawing like me.
