Expired product sent two times on three
I have ordered this product 3 times. The first one everything was okay and the quality good, so I purchased it again in December 2023 and I received 2 boxes with expiration date Sept 2023. After that I ordered it in February 2024 and again they sent me the product which expired in September 2023.Check the expiration date because one time can be a genuine mistake but two times in a row make me think that is not a genuine mistake..

Good quality, good value source of protein.
My 17-year-old granddaughter is currently going through the recruitment process for the RAF and she has been very concerned about the physical/fitness tests. Consequently, she has been training intensely every day in the hope of increasing her strength and endurance for the big day which is now only four weeks away. She needed to increase her protein intake and so I got this for her to tryThese tablets from Nutrimea are very good quality 100% pure organic spirulina high in phycocyanin, plus vitamins A, B (group), E, K as well as iron, zinc and magnesium with no other unnecessary, unhealthy or unnatural ingredients. She has found them easy to swallow with no unpleasant taste and, so far, no undesirable side effects. The green does come off on your fingers but doesn’t stain and is easily wiped off. There are loads of benefits in supplementing with spirulina and these are great value. Nutrimea are an excellent company with a great reputation. It’s early days but she does believe her stamina and energy levels have increased somewhat since taken them regularly, she also believes her recovery times have been improving. Is this down to this supplement or the training? Maybe a combination of both, who can be certain? In any event she is very happy to continue taking these.

Pure Quality
Nutrimea's organic spirulina is pure quality. The tablets contain no additives whatsoever - just 100% spirulina that's certified organic (with an Organic Ecocert AB label) and is ISO 22000, HACCP and BPF certified.I've been taking spirulina powder in my post-exercise smoothies for years. It's right up there with wheatgrass and the supermushrooms (Shiitake, Maitake, Lion's Mane, Chaga, Cordyceps and Reishi) as the most nutrient-dense superfood on the planet. It's loaded with vitamins, minerals, beneficial fatty acids, amino acids and polysaccharides, all of which contribute to optimal health and recovery from exercise. Nutrimea's tablets are a convenient alternative to spirulina powder. No blender necessary, no mess afterwards, no waste. The bottle (which is made of recyclable plastic) contains 200 tablets. At a recommended intake of 3 tablets per day, that equates to a 67-day supply. Excellent value for money. It's worth mentioning that one of the ways in which spirulina benefits health is through the powerful alkalising effect it has on the human body. Optimal health is achieved only when a body is in a slightly alkaline state, which is why it's a good idea to include alkalising foods such as spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass and kale in one's diet. In any supermarket 99% of what's available is acid-forming food and drink rather than base-forming (alkalising), health-giving, nutritious produce. That's one of the main reasons that most people in so-called civilised countries are unhealthy - they consume a diet that's far too acidic, containing little or no base-forming true foods.I've no criticisms of Nutrimea's organic spirulina. This is the second time I've ordered it (the first time was a 540-tablet bottle that lasted a year).

I was sent an expired product
The expiry date on the bottle was 03/23. It was sent to me already 3 months past the expiry date. This would not be safe to consume so I returned it.

Pricey but effective.
I take Spirulina tablets for their effect on reducing my allergic rhinitis. It helps cut down the sneezing and runny noses. The recommended dose for this product is up to 3 tablets a day which means this quantity will last just over two months, which makes it quite an expensive supplement to take regularly at £17.90 for 200 tablets. The tablets are a blue-green colour as you would expect, but are easy to swallow and don't have a bad taste.

A useful supplement with some interesting research. Easier as a tablet than a powder
I was intrigued to try this supplement from the information given by another reviewer, who takes this for allergic rhinitis. I did some research, and was intrigued to see some trials on PuBMed which seem to suggest positive action with spirulina on patients with allergic rhinitis, more than purely a placebo effect.I also know that it seems to have good results with bioavailability of iron and calcium. These are both minerals which are less easily found in plant diets so thought it a helpful supplement for me.I don't have problems taking quite large pills (these are not small) always making sure I glug a good glass of water. I did find though, for the first couple of days, I had an unpleasantly fishy aftertaste. This is particularly horrid for someone who has been strictly vegetarian for many decades. Maybe it wasn't 'fishy' at all, but my memory gave me that word! But as it is an algae which grows in water, its likely fish are in its vicinity.I stopped noticing this after a few days. The advice is to take one tabliet per day with a meal for 3 days rising to 3 with a meal. As my diet is pretty excellent, and I eat little 'junk' and also take other supplements, I will probably stick with the 1 a day

Easy to take
I thought I’d give these tablets a try as they claim to be good for nails (among other things) which I currently could do with some help with. I’ve only been taking them a few days yet (so can’t really comment on whether I’ve noticed any positive difference in any way) but what I can say is that these deep green round tablets are largely odourless and tasteless (if you get them down quick enough) and go down easily. As I can’t report on their effectiveness yet they’re impossible to give a reliable ‘star rating’ yet, but so far I’ve had no adverse reactions and I feel they may be doing me some good (hence four stars for now).
