I ended up buying this DIY Wood Canvas Frame Kit 36"x48" to mount and hang some homemade art. This is my honest review of the product and process.So the price was decent considering how expensive it would have been to have this mounted professionally. The instructions are super clear and it comes with everything you need to mount the art. The adhesive was strong and it pulled the canvas pretty tight, but I couldn't get it to pull as tight as I wanted so its just a little bit loose (but I doubt anyone notices other than me).I mounted this by myself without help. I WISH that I had enlisted help doing this because I think it would have come out better/tighter since my frame was so large. The finished product looks great though and you wouldn't know that this isn't store bought art by looking at it. This has held up well too, considering that I mounted this about 4 years ago. I would definitely recommend this for DIY canvas mounting!Hope this helps!

I have had a canvas print of my dog since 2014....yes you read that right and we meant to frame it but we just tacked it on the wall (yes it looked as tacky as it sounds) it was in our laundry room which also served as a place to house their items and crates. Fast froward to 10 years later I remodeled and redid the artwork. We'll i never got poor gal framed and I thought I wonder if I could do a canvas and came across this kit. Genius! I was worried with some of the reviews but honestly, it was easy and adhesive was fine but I did staple gun mine. Any professional canvas I have ordered has it (I mean they look way better than what I did) but I'm proud of what I did. It looks great! Easy Instructions that include helpful photos in color. Highly recommend! Great product and I would definitely purchase again!

The only downside of the framing kits is that you will likely have to cut the canvas a little like in my pictures. Otherwise, pretty straight forward.MAKE SURE YOU MARK YOUR POSITIONS (in pencil) on the back of the canvas before you peel the adhesive covers. Very easy to ruin the canvas if you have to pull the adhesive off.

It seems like there is a considerable amount of space you need on the outside for the frame to properly stretch so I have to really emphasize the importance of reading the description and get a size that will properly fit it. The glue did not stick as well as I’d hope. It would make more sense to staple the canvas down for extra support. I do like the amount of sizes they offer and they shipped/packed it very well. It also came very quickly!
