Yes, My son wears K12 and I ordered "Big Kid 12" and it was same. The tag inside the shoe even says K12. His foot is about 7.2 inches. " Big Kid" and "Little Kid" both just means "Kids".

I would say an 8. I ordered a 5 for my son and had to size up one from his regular shoe size
