I wasn’t expecting much from gel nail strips, but these completely changed my mind! I tried the Oura Gel Nail Strips and they looked like a fresh salon manicure—but took under 10 minutes to apply. I love these!

I have now tried four styles (8 different applications) of Ohora Nails and can't imagine going back to standard polish.The nails are easy to apply:1) You match the sticker closest to your nail size without being too large (if you apply any part of the sticker onto your skin, the nail will be more prone to coming off early);2) Trim the excess nail down - I use a nail clipper;3) Hold under the UV light - I find two processes to be about right so that the nail is hard;4) Smooth out with a nail file.Total time to apply a set less than a half hour.Removal is a similar process. I fill the cap of the removal liquid, instead of using the dripper that comes with it. I dip each nail and let it soak for a few seconds before very patiently sliding the stick in the kit around the edges. I repeat until the nail comes off easily. The first time I removed a set, I forced the nail off and did a small amount of damage to the top of my own nails. So go slowly and figure out what works best for you - don't force it.I've averaged 10-14 days on my sets. Within my normal wear, I end up chipping one or two nails within 5-8 days - but can easily replace them individually, as the rest of the set normally looks great and there are extras within each kit. I've gotten lots of compliments and I love being able to say I did them myself.When I use traditional polish it takes me a long time to paint my own nails and then I normally chip them within the first 24 hours - so it feels like a big waste. Really happy with these sets. Highly recommend.

So far so good. I put these on yesterday and so far not had any problems out of them. They cured nicely and I’m excited to see how they hold up the next two weeks. I do a lot of cleaning and dishwashing, so it’ll be a true test!

**Update: I've had theses on for a bit over 24 hours now and they are continuing to chip. Even just opening the car door and typing on my keyboard have caused chips. Changing my review from 4 stars to 3 stars. Unless you plan on wrapping your fingers in bubble wrap, expect them to chip. :( **I got these to try for Valentines Day. This is my first time trying any brand semi cured gel nails. I have had them on for about 18 hours now and here is how I feel so far.Over all mid quality and easy to put on. The strips can stretch a little before they are cured, so I was able to get the perfect fit on each of my nails. I was even able to clip the gel about 2mm past my natural nail without any bending or breaking. The sticker that is suppose to stick to your nailbed does remain tacky after curing under UV. I was able to fix that using clear top coat gel on the underside of my nails where the gel went past my natural nails. I also like that they aren't as bulky as acrylics or press-on nails, much more natural looking and feeling. I have taken a hot shower and scrubbed my hair with them on and they did not break or bend from getting wet so that is great. The only issue is that while I am typing this review one of the nails chipped a tiny bit on the corner. Not sure if that is a warning that they will chip more but I'll update my review if its an issue.The main reason I am giving this product 4 stars and not 5 is the color. Based on the listing photos and the packaging, I was expecting a much brighter, rosy pink. The actual color is much more dull. I have a very fair skin tone and the color of the nails is almost identical to my skin. Not really what I was looking for to go with my pink valentines outfit. They would probably look much better on a different skin tone or if you want a more neutral look these are great.Overall, they seem good quality especially for $16 and cheaper than the $20 press-ons I was looking at. I’ve had a ton of these since my wedding last year- here’s three things you need to know.1.) they’re not great if you’re looking to add additional length to your nails, I have used them to make a nail slightly longer but beyond that the shape always ends up weird.2.) prep is everything if you scrub your nails down really well with a brush and alcohol and then go in with the prep wipes, these will last you 2+ weeks no problem3.) just get the top coat, it seems like an unnecessary expense but it really helps smooth the nails after initial application, allows you to cap your edges, and lets you refresh your nails after week 1 when they’re looking a bit dingy.All in all, I love these nails and am so happy to finally have a long lasting and affordable at home option.

Love these! Mixed and matched the colors and have been getting many compliments- super easy to put on and have stayed put for over a week and counting!

I am so disappointed in this color set. To be clear the quality is not in question. This company puts out a solid gel nail product. They are easy to apply and remove. They are not hard on my nails and do not tend to peel like some of their competitors do. The coloring on this one misses the mark though. When I ordered this, I was under the impression that the tones were more pink with an ombré fade. However, upon opening the box and application it was clear the color profile was more of an apricot or dusty orange. I will leave them on because who wants to do their nails two days in a row? But I will definitely be monitoring the company’s colors a bit more closely!
