For the price this thing is amazing. It slides the pizza on and off the stone so easily! As the title suggests it's a bit thin so if you're heavy handed or clumsy in the kitchen you might end up breaking it, so be careful.

Exactly as expected. Nice and large, sturdy, smooth without rough edges. The pizza sauce does stain the wood slightly but thats no problem. I use it mainly for transferring pizzas from a nonstick pan onto the peel and use my pizza cutter while the pizza is on the peel, therefore preventing scratching to the nonstick pan. The size is perfect for my pizzas made with store bought Boboli or similar crusts, leaving few inches of room around.

I never owned a pizza peel so it being a very thin piece of wood may be common. My first thought when unpackaging it was it looked very thin and cheap. But I have used it and it worked fine. How long it will last that we will have to see.

One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. Price was great, quality is great, easy to use and it doesn't feel flimsy under the weight of the pizza.

I have had at least a dozen pizza peels over the years: wooden, metal, etc. I was a bit anxious when I saw how thin the wood was (1/8" ply) but it is great. The shorter handle makes it easy to store. It's lightweight and feels very secure when handling a big pie. And the price: no contest.

Images show a rectangular paddle, leading one to believe the size does not include the handle. But the one that shows up is smaller and square. The size does include the handle. Rendering it useless for longer breads.

I have a ooni karu 16 and a ooni koda 16 and I use this peel for launching my pizzas and it works great. I love this pizza peel.

The product description say it’s birch wood but it’s a composite play wood and glued together layers.It may or may not work great but the product description is a scam.As others have pointed out the handle is incredibly small. I bought three larger version and the handle works for my petite wife and my young children but 5’11” me with average sized man hands can barely get a good grip on the tiny handle
