I bought this to use with my MacBook Air (2025, M4 chip) for a more stable wired internet connection – and it’s been perfect. Plugged it straight into a USB adapter and it worked instantly, no drivers or setup needed.Speeds are consistently fast, and it’s made a big difference when uploading large video files or doing Zoom calls during bad Wi-Fi moments. Great Product.
Bought this to save the information from a mobile phone with a non responsive screen. With this item and a bluetooth mouse I was able to navigate to the application that links to a new phone and imports all data and settings and transfer everything to the new phone. A real lifesaver.

Works as intended for my working from home setup
Works as intended for my working from home setup. I was looking for a dock like this that I could plug in and remove the wires and this works well. The compactness of it appealed to me, and the port capacity.

Works fine with my Macbook Air M1
Great with my Macbook Air M1. Nice tight fit and all ports work albeit with one restriction. I initially purchased the item to let me connect to my LAN by cable in preference to wireless. I was worried about some of the comments about the difficulty of removing the plug from the socket. Yes I found it difficult at first but soon learnt the technique - push down about 5 degrees and pull back rather than trying to lift up the top of the socket. This is natural anyway as the securing catch on my Cat 5 cable plug has to be pushed down to be released on any socket.The one issue I referred to is that very old USB low capacity storage sticks cannot be read, even though my 2020 iMac can read them without issue. More recent USB storage sticks work fine.This is one of those instances where buying cheap does not mean poor quality. Fantastic value for money and the perfect thickness and colour for my M1.

Two monitor support, but with drawbacks
So this did allow me to have two external monitors on my M1 Macbook Air after using the included software, which is great, there are drawbacks.There are two HDMI outputs the first is the 4K one - this ran the external monitor absolutely fine. The second is labels 1080p - and the way this works is to send the video via screen recording. Although the resolution and display looks great and there is no problem here, there is a significant jumping and jittery pointer movements. If you plan to use this monitor as an extra display and have little interaction it's fine, but would not be suitable if it was heavily used. The other drawback is that the software it runs to allow this, MacUsbDisplay, does use a consistent 30-40% of my M1 CPU.

Perfect for what I need - working from home and extending screens
I work from home and have just acquired a second screen which means I now have three including my laptop.I needed a splitter than would allow me to explained rather than duplicate the displays to allow me to drag across and work on multiple pages and this is perfect for it. No issues with delay or connectivity and I would definitely purchase again
