4 years and working again.
I also have one of the angels than illuminate. When the thing quit working tried to replace with regular white lights. All it did when plugged in was to blow. Figured the bulbs had to be a higher voltage. Been looking for a while now (4 yrs)Found these, ordered and replaced mine. Plug in and now it lights up! Now instead of being in the dark, she's lit.

Just what I Needed
We have a very old, family, heirloom, Christmas tree angel topper for our Christmas tree. This Christmas Angel topper is lit using a small quantity of incandescent bulbs and then plugged into 110 VAC.As it turns out, due to the age of the topper, several of the bulbs had blown. Most of these blown bulbs were inside the angel’s gown, and less noticeable. So, we haven’t bothered to replace these blown bulbs. However, this year, the candle that the angel was holding also blew. This all of a sudden, became unacceptable! My wife asked me to fix the angel. After reading the documentation that was in the box (yes, we still have the original box.) the directions stated that you must use 12 V bulbs for replacement.I found these 12V bulbs on Amazon and ordered a pack. The bulbs arrived quickly.I was able to replace not only the candle bulb that the angel was holding, but also the 2 to 3 additional bulbs that have blown inside her gown. These bulbs worked perfectly. Once plugged into power, the angel was back to her original full glory, and she looked beautiful as she took her place on top of our Christmas tree. The color match and brightness between the old bulbs and the new bulbs was perfect. Most bulbs on long strings of Christmas tree lights are not 12 V bulbs. So be careful when ordering these bulbs as these bulbs are 12 V bulbs. However, if you are in need of 12 V clear, incandescent bulbs for your Christmas lighting, these were great. These bulbs are highly recommended.

New replacement bulbs for my Christmas tree topper.
The bulbs i ordered came exactly as advertised. None were broken, they were well packed and arrived quickly, about 5 days after I placed the order. They worked well, I was able to use them to fix my 10 bulb tree topper that I've had for years. Thanks!

Good bulbs but wire leads short.
Note the wire leads are short for use in the OLD Christmas tree topper light fixtures. Also these newer bulbs use less power so you cannot mix them with the old bulbs from decades ago. If you have an OLD tree topper with 10-12 bulbs, you should replace the ALL with the same newer bulbs. However the old bulb sockets are deeper and the new bulb wire length is a problem. You may need to file down the ends of the holder to expose more wire, or just try to find bulbs with longer wires.

12v bulbs for 10 light strands
These worked in my 10 light strand. I didn't realize untill now that different number strands use different voltage lights. I understand now that they wire them in series so your bulb voltage must match your lightset

Rebuilt by 10-light Tree Topper!
I learned a new thing about lighting with this. Regular 2.5v/3.5v Christmas lights do not work in 10 light strings for 120v in North America. Do the math, 120v/10x lights = 12v, because it's wiring in series. Drove me stir crazy for about a half hour trying to figure out how my tree topper was setup, mostly because of how it was put together -- was not really user serviceable. I build and work on circuit boards, and it was comical that it took me a few to figure out what in the world was going on. Once I figured it out, I ordered these lights and I even got them before Christmas. I popped a new light in, and bam, my tree topper is back like new! It appears these bulbs are getting rarer and rarer as LED is taking over. My tree itself is lit with a professional GE indoor/outdoor LED light string. However, I still like the ambiance of the incandescent tree topper that I've had for a very, very long time. In short, I'll likely buy another set of these for the future.

Perfect bulbs for my vintage tinsel star!
One thing I never knew until now is that tree toppers (or short string lights) take a higher volt bulb. I tried others that I had on hand and it got very hot to the point it was smelling burnt. These worked perfectly and are very easy to replace. I ended up changing all the bulbs since they were brighter than the few vintage ones that were still working.
