This was a very easy product to use. It’s my very first time doing a stencil personally but the stencil itself was reliable and affordable for what it was. It is a plastic material so very easy to clean. It came with the extra large size stencil and a smaller 12 x 12 for smaller parts of the wall. It was lightweight so I had no issues with it falling off the tape as I was working. A beautiful design! 10/10

The photo is still mid renovation, so excuse the mess, but this stencil was worth every penny. I had previously attempted some peel and stick wallpaper, but I'll never go back. Stencil was the way to go. This was durable and sturdy.I suggest taking it slow and muster all of your patience. It will be worth it.The pink paint I used a flocked roller as suggested by the company. Wet the flocked roller and roll off as much paint as possible before rolling on the stencil.The gold spray paint was a glitter paint and did have some over spray. If I had that to do over again I think I'd find a glitter paint I could roll on. The stencil did get heavy after awhile on the spray painted portions, so I started using push pins to hold it for the last part. However for the majority of the application frog painters tape did just fine.Corners were tough. I had to walk away at one point and come back later. My best suggestion for corners is to work left to right and not top down when taping.I found the stencil easy to line up because of the small curved pieces that get painted from the stencil. They matched up almost perfectly every time and if it didn't that was user error and no fault of the stencil.

Perhaps the most annoying part of this product, as i circled in the photo above, the company put their logo on the top…not printed but cut out. This is less than an inch from the design. If you happen to be using a roller on a high wall its very easy to accidentally put the company logo in the middle of your pattern.WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU PLACE A COMPANY LOGO CUT OUT THAT CLOSE TO A DESIGN!The beginning of the project was amazing, dare I say even fun. I have no painting experience and this made painting effortless with stunning results…until the second wall…..I used a high density roller and offloaded the paint as suggested but painting layers will inevitably cause buildup. I tried cleaning it in the shower which helped a little, but it was messy and uneven. Much of the paint rolled into little balls while cleaning and stuck all over the front and back of the stencil. Any attempt to scrub catches the stencils cutouts and if you break one game over.As the stencil gets heavier the tape becomes unable to hold it. By the end I was using 7 or more tape pieces. The paint buildup causes another huge problem….as the layers get thicker the space between the stencil and the wall increases. This means you have to press harder causing more bleed and adding paint to the stencil even faster. It also increases the time it takes to paint by quite a bitI was faced with a choice; keep going at half speed doing a substandard job or postpone 4 days to wait for a new stencil. I just powered through. Buy at least 2 from the start if doing a full room.
